Musical Act- The Band 1976
This was tough for me as I have a couple other favorite performances and think most of the “best” performances are overrated, but peak The Band, just weeks before The Last Waltz is impossible to top.

Is this the final pick? I couldn't quite tell.
Justin Timberlake
The hosting
The cameos (best upload I can find)
The shorts, maybe the funniest shit in SNL history
No, you need a musical act.

Melissa McCarthy- Easy pick for host for me, no one has ever been more made for SNL and not been on the cast. NEVER breaks character and makes it impossible for those in skits with her to not break.

I am currently watching Vanderpump Rules with my wife after her begging me for years to watch. It’s trash.

My last cast member is Jason Sudeikis.
Probably best known for Maine Justice and two a-holes, but he was fantastic in most of the skits he was featured in
My favorite skit he’s in, even though Tim Robinson (a genius) steals the show IMO.

The absolute steal of the draft, funniest gal in the history of the show in the 4th round. Gilda Radner

Parasite and Shape of Water both straddle the line. Artsy genre flicks.
The 00’s was full of non art house films. The Departed, No Country for Old Men, Million Dollar Baby all fit plus more.

And it wins best picture. The Academy working overtime to be hip and relevant. I approve.
I’m fine with it winning, was a really fun film. Will it hold up after 20 years…don’t know. Love that Short Round won, he was great. Didn’t think Jamie Lee deserved it, her costar was much better. Really bummed that Paul Mescal didn’t win best actor, his performance was by far the best of the year.

Where is the easiest (as in free) way to stream these?
I was actually thinking about giving Ponyo a try because it was the one that seemed I could most likely get my wife sucked into (if for no other reason than Tina Fey does voice acting.)
HBO Max has them all.

I'm also not afraid to 7/10 this all time classic for being slowish. My favorite Miyazaki movie is probably Ponyo, so what do I know about high art and animation though.

I agree that the first 3 rounds were close other than the Keenan pick, he’s not even close to as strong as the others IMO and would not make a the top 5 on any team for me. I figured my picks wouldn’t be favorites as a couple (Belushi & Radner) are older without the long movie careers like others since they died young. But no doubt they are both top 10, but likely top 5 cast members of all time.
