  1. Ok, I like stats and wanted confirmation that I drafted the best cast. It’s hard to find rankings that go deeper than 10-20 and include all of our picks, but I found Paste and Rolling Stone had rankings which included everyone. Below are the results which are average draft result. Note RS must really hate Norm MacDonald as they almost rated him last (139) which clearly threw Gtypes average off (if he was rated same as paste the avg was 25). user Paste Rolling Stone Doner24 9.6 13.4 Nugfish 14.6 15 Reed 18 17.2 Fox 18.4 20.2 G-Type 15.4 47.8 Silverspoon 30.2 30.8
  2. I definitely get this. I’m 41 and was always considered the guy from my large group that everyone thought would stay unmarried without kids his entire life, as I’m a wild, traveling man that has dated a ton. I myself was unsure of what I wanted, but eventually found a great gal and got married a couple weeks before I turned 40 and we just had our first kid 7 weeks ago. It is so different, and difficult at times but so worth it for me. It’s tough cutting back on some of the things that I love to do, but I’m starting to find a nice balance where I don’t feel like I’m lacking those things, but I’m still present enough for my family. I definitely felt people trying to pressure me about the “ideal” life of a wife and a kids while I was running around, but in general I don’t give a crap about societal norms or what people think about my choices.
  3. I agree that the first 3 rounds were close other than the Keenan pick, he’s not even close to as strong as the others IMO and would not make a the top 5 on any team for me. I figured my picks wouldn’t be favorites as a couple (Belushi & Radner) are older without the long movie careers like others since they died young. But no doubt they are both top 10, but likely top 5 cast members of all time.
  4. Chicago style pizza is more lasagna than pizza. #kiaboys
  5. Musical Act- The Band 1976 This was tough for me as I have a couple other favorite performances and think most of the “best” performances are overrated, but peak The Band, just weeks before The Last Waltz is impossible to top. https://m.facebook.com/story.php/?story_fbid=794421117688376&id=1642860786023918 https://vimeo.com/248796217?embedded=false&source=vimeo_logo&owner=18785369
  6. No, you need a musical act.
  7. Melissa McCarthy- Easy pick for host for me, no one has ever been more made for SNL and not been on the cast. NEVER breaks character and makes it impossible for those in skits with her to not break.
  8. I am currently watching Vanderpump Rules with my wife after her begging me for years to watch. It’s trash.
  9. My favorite skit he’s in, even though Tim Robinson (a genius) steals the show IMO.
  10. The absolute steal of the draft, funniest gal in the history of the show in the 4th round. Gilda Radner
  11. The 00’s was full of non art house films. The Departed, No Country for Old Men, Million Dollar Baby all fit plus more.
  12. I’m fine with it winning, was a really fun film. Will it hold up after 20 years…don’t know. Love that Short Round won, he was great. Didn’t think Jamie Lee deserved it, her costar was much better. Really bummed that Paul Mescal didn’t win best actor, his performance was by far the best of the year.
  13. It’s a fine film, but crazy to me that someone would like it best of his films.
