Hi all -- after some delays, our Space Raft episode should be on the way later this week. In the meantime, check out this interview we did with Hair of the Dogcast at the 2022 Midwest Gaming Classic! This was a fun, short talk about homebrews, podcasting, and our first time at MGC. You can get the audio version here.

Our recap of the 2022 Midwest Gaming Classic is now live! Tune in to hear two tired guys talk about crazy game prices, chilling out in the Video Game Sage homebrew room, and eating a lot of quality pub food:

Oh, ha. I was mostly joking about the profanity. I don't care either way and I'm certainly not worked up about it, but as a profane person myself I thought it was funny that this was something people are specifically concerned about. I'm also backing the project regardless.

"English swear words have been removed due to some complaints"
Can we have a kickstarter level where the curse words get added back in?

I'm not sure how much I'm going to have time to post on this VGS club page on top of everything else we're doing for the podcast, but FYI we also have channels going for each game club pick on our Discord, where the conversation is hoppin' and you can join for yourself right here: https://discord.gg/MsaGY87kex

I just started a VGS club page for the podcast. I have no idea if anyone will use this but thought I'd give it a try!
Our Discord server usually has a pretty active discussion going for each game we cover, so feel free to chime in there as well.

The Homebrew Game Club is a podcast about new games for old consoles. We're three friends exploring brand-new, original, aftermarket games for retro systems, as well as the quirky communities that create them. We pick one game a month to play and talk about, on consoles ranging from the NES, Genesis, and Game Boy, to the ZX Spectrum, Atari 2600 and more. Check out our main forum post here, or go here to see our VGS blog. To find links to the podcast feed, Discord server, social media, and more, visit http://homebrewgameclub.com.
If you're wondering "Who the hell are these guys?" feel free to listen to our Episode 0: Introductions episode, where the three of us talk about our experiences with video games and how they've been shaped by our backgrounds in the tech and media industries.

If you want even more control/professional look, there's the open source Davinci Resolve software, which is even used professionally, but comes at a steeper learning curve. It's my go-to now that I've learned it a bit.
DaVinci Resolve is great but it is definitely pro-level software.
