Even back when they went to their first World Series (in Atlanta) in 1991 there was some concerns about the tomahawk chop.  IIRC this was Deion Sanders' idea that he borrowed from his alma mater (Florida State).

I like the Braves jersey I hope they don't have to change it and or their name.

I'm basically pulling for the Braves to win it all by default at this point.

I'm national league all the way at this point....Since the White Sox couldn't get the job done! @Ausden wtf!

What a butthead. Reminds me of the father/son duo who ran onto the field to randomly beat up the Royals third base coach about 30 years ago

Yeah I remember the entire team jumping on those guys and completely demolishing them! That was the original malice at the palice!

  4. My hate= Houston>Tampa>Boston.

I hate all Philadelphia sports teams and their fans as well. My former neighbor had a Philadelphia Eagles flag and a super douche Bryce Harper jersey and I never spoke to him. It made me nauseous just to see him mow his lawn.

Admit it. You want Boston to win so Hal will be pissed off enough to spend some big bucks!

Oh I admit it. My hate is actually stronger for Tampa than Boston at this point. I'm ready for Brian Cashman or whom ever puts these yankee teams together to take a walk at this point. The formula isn't working and it hasn't worked for the better part of 20 years, if you measure success by championships.

The rays with their random rookies that are always October studs...

I wonder how many first round draft picks they have on their roster...

I hope the Dodgers can pull this out. I don't really want to see the Cardinals move on after they knocked the Reds out of the playoffs with their ridiculous winning streak.

Looks like your wish was emphatically granted. Now its time for the white sox to get the job done!

I don't get it either. It's like he's sucking on a golf ball. I wouldn't understand it if it were gum, much less chewing tobacco.

I still think to the time my buddy accidentally drank someone's dip spit cup. Absolutely foul.

I was reading that they don't allow chewing tobacco in mlb anymore but I don't buy that he's using gum and sunflower seeds. When he spits it's looks like motor oil. He's an awesome player though. I really like Xander Bogaerts. Maybe it's because wears the number of his favorite player, and uses his same model glove too.😉

Everybody is always trying to out-ray the rays. They are the definition of an all or nothing offense. But it always seems to work for them regardless of if it's the playoffs or Regular season. ☹️

What is with Devers and all that chew in his mouth? I can't believe someone hasn't told him he looks totally disgusting. It's friggin gross, and not to mention that shit causes cancer. Just look at what happened to poor Tony Gywnn.

Well, the offense did what it needed to do and got to Cole early! Just have to hang in there through that filthy bullpen they have!

Yankees offense is so unbalanced. Arod was right last night when he said the all or nothing approach works during the regular season but not in the playoffs. You have to get runners on for Judge and Stanton. I can't stand watching all the other guys just going up there trying to hit the long ball every ab. Not having lemahieu in the line up really hurt.

  11. I can remember back when arcades used to be rented out for birthday parties, those were the best. I really liked Golden Axe. But I can also remember playing all the usual suspects with complete strangers at the boardwalk (Xmen, Simpson's, Turtles etc). Back when kids used to have to play games in person, with other kids 😯.  Movie theaters, pizzerias, bowling alleys they all had games. The good old days...

Shortly after starting shift work, I had several instances of sleep paralysis. Very odd feeling... I was fully awake mentally (could hear and understand everything going on around me) but couldn't move or open my eyes, hence the 'paralysis' part. Only lasted a minute or two but extremely odd not being able to move even though you are thinking about it as normal. Definitely a much more coherent feeling then trying to wake yourself up in a dream.

Yeah I've had that on many occasions. I try to get momentum and move my body but I can't. Then I just give up and fall back to sleep. It's a pretty messed up feeling. When I was a kid I woke up during surgery, it was similar.

There’s a second divide, though, which is whether it’s appropriate for investors to participate in grading companies at all. I think that’s far more interesting and important for future in collectibles. How much separation is needed to participate? Lots of gray lines in the space.

When your entire business is based on your ability to be objective and impartial, my opinion is that no employee/advisor should be partaking in the service. The optics are terrible. The fact that the people at the top of the company haven't recused themselves from getting games graded tells me they care more about making a quick buck then being taken seriously by those in the hobby that aren't just speculators or investors.
