I'm not really into fast food-chicken sandwiches, usually they mess my stomach up. But I might have to give this one a shot. I don't think popeyes is that big in NJ though. There's only one location I've ever noticed and it's in a mall. So I can't even go through a drive through to grab one. I have to actually get out of my car.

Yeah, it sucks about the scoreboard being gone. I was proud of a few of my scores.  I wonder if it will get resurrected in any form in the future. It would be a shame if it didn't.

I came home to an empty house . I'm gonna give mega man 11 on the switch a try. I just picked it up because it was like $25. My nes and avs are in storage. I'm hoping to bring them home  by the end of this month.

Lol. Yeah, they're pretty good. They destroy the neighbors in smash bros on the switch. All the little boys come over talkin shit and my daughter mops the floor with them... They do team battles and she fights them all at the same time and still wins. Brings a little tear to my eye.

I thought I was pretty good at double dragon 2. So when it got picked in a tournament a few years back I thought I had it in the bag. But then I found out double dragon 2 is some folks religion around these parts. And uhh... I pretty much got owned by everyone.

Jone. I can only speak for myself, but that is the entire issue in a nutshell. Nobody is saying anything is illegal. It's just some people like myself. Who have no vested interest, no dog in the fight, find some of the actions that took place completely unethical and repulsive. When people start changing the argument to better fit their narrative, and deflect away from that point, they are exacerbating the issue. In the end they are only trying to fool themselves. Nobody else is fooled here. I know a lot of people were afraid to chime in on NA, maybe because they loved the sight and didn't want to offend the people who ran it. But I'm glad at least a few people here aren't afraid to just call it how they see it.

My wife bought me a switch for my 35th birthday. It didn't take too long for her resentment to kick in.

At what point did schools start tolerating kids having phones readily accessible?  Seems like terrible judgment, to me.

Yeah these kids are all playing on their own smartphones. I had a gameboy when they first came out. But I wasn't allowed to bring it to school. I remember my friends getting yelled at and having them confiscated. The only safe place for the gameboy was on the school bus.

You know what made the big comeback? Rubix cubes. My kids are obsessed with them. They have 6x6, 4×4, a pyramid.

They have all kinds of stuff for the kids to do when I drop them off. They have crafts, board games, checkers, chess. They can play basketball, other ball games. My son brings transformers and he plays with a few of his friends. They bring pokemon cards...   But the school also allows electronics, and sure as shit, there's a row of about 10-15 kids sitting against the wall, not playing or interacting with any other kids. 

My 2 kids ages 9 and 8 get an hour each on the switch, on both Saturday and Sunday. So a combined 2 hours a week individually. They aren't allowed to play during the week. No tablets are allowed in my house. They do sneak games in on their moms phone once and a while but it's typically for like 5 or 10 minutes, and certainly not everyday. After they do reading or math on the computer sometimes they have little games for rewards afterwards. There is nothing sadder to me then when I drop my kids off at before care at their school and see a bunch of zombie kids sitting on the gym floor staring at electronics. 

And don't judge me because I've played hello kitty world. It was with my daughter, I swear.

Though, I do suspect he knew NA was a ticking timebomb with a server decommission date of 10/31.  

I find it very hard to believe that none of those games that were being promoted at those gaming conventions belonged to Dain. 

I really don't know if wata is good for the hobby or not, but it clearly caused the downfall of NA. As far as I'm concerned, Dain performed a classic pump and dump. Promoting all that nonsense, having all his shit graded by his buddies and then completely selling out! The website included!
