Also, what's up with Xevious? I suck at shooters, but thought that one is way easier than Starship Hector
Maybe I'll play it next if nobody wants it. I've played it before its just really bland.

I'd have to be on a raging diet coke / vodka / meth bender to ever consider playing that POS again
Diet Coke and vodka? I'm in.

Would've liked to have seen what the 3rd loop looked like. But I'm done with this game.

Made it to the final boss in Starship Hector should have it beat soon hopefully. I've probably played this game for close to 20 hours overall so far. It took me FOREVER to clear the end of that 2nd level consistently.

Was away last week, just started back up on Starship Hector. Now that's a tough game. I would rank it as the toughest game I've played so far this year IMO.

Starship Hector is crazy. I haven't even beaten the 2nd level yet. There's no way to brute force through this game. You gotta have a strategy for every little section I bet.

Are you wanting to play Star Voyager for your own personal satisfaction? Because it's already been beaten for this thread for the year. Now, Star Soldier still needs to be done, and its reputation isn't quite as savage as Star Force or Starship Hector. I suck at all three, but I'm not a shooter ace.
Lol, thanks. I'll look for star soldier. I'll hold off on Star Voyager for now.

Pulled a few "star games" out. Gonna work on them for a while.

What's the deal with save states for long games? Is it acceptable to save state at the end of a play session to alleviate the whole "leave your console on for days straight" issue? There are a couple games I'm looking at with infinite continues/ lives, but they're long and don't have passwords or save functionality.
Lol, I leave my nes on for days at a time. I just turn the TV off. The NES is indestructible! I think for ROBOCOP 2 I left it on for a week

Just beat Little Nemo: The Dream Master for the first time. What a surprise that such a good game was still on the list this late in the challenge. It poses a decent challenge, but isn't one of the harder NES games. Anyway, really good game that felt like a reward after the long and difficult Flying Warriors.
Yeah it is really good game. I loved playing it as a kid. I never watched the movie though.

You're a beast, @BriGuy82! What's next?
I just started playing alpha mission. Made it to level 6 so far. Hopefully I can complete it within the next week or so.

Did the 5 inning games like @nerdynebraskan suggested. Was nice and quick in playoff mode. Pretty good game overall. I picked Oakland for Magwhire and Janseco . I gave up a 2 out error that lead to a grandslam in that final game. Otherwise would've had a shutout. Faux Eckersley got rocked.

Bo Jackson Baseball and Tecmo Baseball remind me of Bases Loaded, but are both mercifully much shorter. I hope you played around with the options menu in BJB; you can reduce the number of games in each series and even the length of games to six innings (I believe). Just watch out for the goofy team select menu options between games. It's easy to select the wrong team. I'm partial to playing that game with the Chicago-A (not-White Sox); BJB is one of several NES baseball games that had no license with MLB and/or the MLBPA, but very clearly modeled its clubs and rosters on the contemporary MLB. Bo Jackson is hidden on a few teams, but since he actually played for the White Sox at that point he's right there in the starting line-up of the totally-not-White Sox of Chicago-A.
I didn't even think to check the options lol. I will now.

Started on bo Jackson baseball. It's actually not a bad game, so that's a pleasant surprise. I thought about starting a bases loaded season but I just can't do it. The playing the whole game from the pitchers perspective hurts my brain.

@scaryice which mode do you have to play in mach rider for the completion requirements?

Dont recall seeing any other 17 point games. Never played that one, but imagine its quite the bear
Edit: quoted the wrong post. Talking about flight of the intruder
I've played it a lot. So me saying I don't think it's that difficult is probably a skewed opinion. The missions just get longer and longer at the end. That's probably what stops people from making it all the way through.

I'm on Xevious right now. I'm limited on playing time, but committed to completing this one. The other star games I'm not fully committed to just yet. But we'll see.
