My fave game of all time and unstoppable. But I pretty much agree with this. Maybe not a 4 today but closer to 6, just the genre has come too far in terms of controls, AI, options, graphics, etc. Its was and is a great game but nothing I'd want to play other than for a nostalgia kick.

The thing is, I'd have been all over that XBLA port that never was simply for modern controls, a visual bump and 60 FPS. The N64 one is just not good any more by today's standards. The World is Not Enough is more fun today.

I agree with more like a 6 though, but I'm echoing how 4/10 is written here as "Meh".

  2. Nice add, Austin!

@Goodvibes Regarding Frankenstein, I bought one around 5 years ago, that was old rental stock but lightly used. Every game I bought was very nice, with what I would assume were all the extras. The only one I checked personally, was Flying Warriors, after witnessing one unboxed in person. The one from the rental lot was 100% to the unboxed one. Thanks, @killerkobra. I should check the Wiz list on any of the others.

    Anyways:

  3. I do this a few times per year, and usually book time off work to do it. Have done so since 2008 with GTA IV. Cyberpunk 2077 will be the next up, and I'll probably book 2 weeks off work.

The longest I believe was 30 hours. GTA V from midnight to 6 AM the NEXT day. I remember trembling in bed when I finally tried to sleep from caffeine pills and 5-hour energies. I don't mess with caffeine pills anymore.

  4. I have around 15 hours in. My first run I was using Floyd and not loving it. I've been trying others and having a better time. I went back to Floyd after learning the game and it's mechanics (abilities, enemy AI, how to combo better), and had a way better time with him too. I'm not super familiar with the older games, but this is a competent beat-em-up at the core, and it's doing a good job at keeping my attention. Co-op is better, of course.

I don't believe a BK-1 cart label exists although Bootgod's website has one listed. Strangely there is no N7 cart label or ROM listed.

Edit: Yours actually is USA-1, I just checked the full res pic.

    From my CIB:

I’m messaging the eBay seller back and fourth. He says the box has two built-in cartridge slots, further clarifying that this was packaged with two carts.

Looks like you’ll be getting the cardboard insert, too, even though it’s not shown in the pictures @Nesmaster

Built-in likely means non-removable, but I've been wondering about the design of the interior. Do they both sit up top, or is one accessed through the bottom, like a few standalone game boxes were made. I don't have that 4-in-1(2) posted above, so no idea.
