Has anyone else mentioned Zoda's Revenge having a backwards number? The last digit on my box is a 4, but it's backwards; if that is indeed unusual, let me know and I can take a photo of it if you'd like.
Startropics II: Zoda’s Revenge
11104 *’4’ is backwards*
I wonder if that's meant to be 40111, but got printed backwards. I'll check my cart/box/man tomorrow.

Hey, this way you don't have to hunt that damn poster. Nice buy!

Never had that happen, but I got offered $67.50 once from the seller on an item. I offered $65 after, auto declined. Some days later I got an email saying it sold for $62. ???
Another one that's happened is where an item is say, $18 BIN. I get emailed that the seller sent me an offer, 25% off. The now discounted price is higher than the original BIN. Do people fall for this? The item's still not sold and has been raised to like $54 now, so 2 or more increases over the original BIN.

Yes. I guess it's now 6 years.
The guy's name is Joe Granato and he hasn't provided any update since May.
I'm still waiting for the NES Quest game, which was a stretch goal involving that same guy from January 2015 lol. I stopped giving a shit like 5 years ago, but still get updates about it.
4 for 4 projects I backed took forever, and/or were letdowns. Never backed anything again.

I bet they pull the wrap off and send it in for a very high grade NS.
That mold is under the plastic if you look at the spots beneath the v-seam. Also looks to me like a lot of the back suffered moisture damage. What a waste of money lol.

Not that I have any love for VGA (we found them grading fake DS Pokemons as genuine earlier this month), but seems possible the mould could've grown after grading, no?
Heard of that happening with poorly stored slabbed comics, so that was my guess here too.

I upgraded these and ended up with no dates on the new ones, with no carts to help date them as I bought as IB. Is a safe assumption that they are earlier ones? I see Bootgod has a Contra board with mid 1988 dates. Is the 1987 rule a Nintendo thing? What's the earliest third party date you have for IB @Code Monkey?

Capcom didn't get on board with the red stripe until very late in the game. I know their last release, Chip & Dale 2, has the stripe, but I don't think I own another purple border Capcom game with one present. Konami was really bad for that too, with Tournament Fighters (also their last release and also a '94 release) being the only one in my collection...
Hey Morbis, we're referring to the rebate stripe:
You can find similar for DuckTales and Rescue Rangers, not aware of others.

Mega Man 2 Stripeless manual (USA-1): 20306The manual date was printed on the inside cover backwards for MM2. See pic. Boards below:
I had an extra manual I also checked, XR-USA, same date and error/location. An extra box yielded 00119, so probably from the XR-USA* release.

If you really want to for your own purposes, get a cheap sports game to apply it to, and keep the original front stored away. Never say never, in terms of selling it or possibly upgrading.

I’m sorry WHAT??? I need this
There was 2 on ebay this year. One the seller opened. I don't know if I saved photos. I didn't buy either because shipping costs were too rich for me.

Who was producing these bundles? Are there more like this? Only other one I've seen is the Franklin the Turtle one. Never saw these for sale when the GBA was current either.
Looks like whoever did the merch (KOL? AOL LLC) put out this specific one. There's a Toys R' Us sticker on the back, so it was at least available there.
There's other things out there like this, like the Pacman Pinball with bag, but I won't pretend like I know about them all. Still finding new (to me) stuff is exciting regardless.

Well I checked, because I didn't want to lay in bed thinking about it. They're not defined enough either way.
B 1110(backwards 4)
M none (?) EDIT: I can seem to ever so faintly make out number impressions in the usual spot, but not well enough to make it out. Looks printed with no ink.
Both chips 401A5 (4O1 = 1994/Oct/11 = 9442) Thanks@0xDEAFC0DE
