@NesmasterThat’s an interesting theory! I know for sure the USA-1 Dexter’s Lab released standalone - the seal on the box for the first print has “Official Nintendo Seal of Quality” while the revised version just says “Official Nintendo Seal.” But they could have still, as you said, included two separate carts in the two-pack.

All of this assuming it actually exists, lol.

I actually had no idea about the Powerpuff girls glitch / revision. Did they slap a “-1” to the end of the “USA” for that one as well?

I'm not sure exactly why this one has a USA-1, but the invincibility glitch is the first thing I found googling glitches for this one.

How were you able to check that?

And yes, as far as figuring it out, thats right. I used a guide to beat it for the first time. Otherwise, there is a lot of guessing. After that, it's one of the most fun plays and rewarding beats.

If you log back in under your account on that go-collect mess, your pms should still be there.

  3. Finally! I just checked for the hell of it, and I linked you to one in July 2014. So, right in the middle. I beat it for the thread once on NA, and it actually is pretty good. It's got parts you need to figure out, but when you can full run it, it's satisfying to play.

  4. I've looked into this, and I wonder if the USA-1 bug fix carts were from this box? Like maybe bam! had 2 carts inside this box. Mojo had some Invincibility glitch, and Dexter a progress glitch or something. If they produced more of both later to replace purchased carts, is it possible extras got packed in this new box as a "combo"? I can't see bam! making more of these 2 in a combo cart if they had these already laying around. Just a theory, Could explain the apparent few sealed/cib data and zero loose.

  5. I bought Earthbound for $29 on clearance. Still have the guide and box with it, but not the cards or box insert.

Worms 64, purchased new from the one place/chain in my area I remember having it. Still have it CIB.

A bit later on I bought Outrun 2006 for Xbox, for $6. I don't have the original case with the sticker for that, I swapped all my Xbox games (The few I did own from years ago) to 360 because I liked the cases better.

NES doesn't really fit the topic, only Mega Man 6.

I had Sculptor's Cut boxed that I picked up from BBV for $25 way back, but it got traded in with a handful of games so I could buy Kirby 64. That was the only time I traded in any N64 games too lol.

    a) I ordered 21 of these the same day as you and they haven't even shown up in Canada Post's tracking system yet.

    b) I ordered 21 of these and I feel like I won't even want them now.

Here's the worst offender so far, on CIB, no cello. Not all of them fit exactly the same but this one is basically unusable due to the width. The inside of the acrylic got scuffed from being too tight. I also show the loose slider.

  7. I got them about a week ago. My thoughts:

    - The GB ones are fine

    - The NES ones suck. Vertically they're roughly 1/4" too big. The width is too tight for my comfort. Horizontal is cello dependent. I bought them for sealed games and am not comfortable even trying to get them in due to the width. For CIBs they are a hard MAYBE, but forget games with too many inserts/maps/bag.

Regarding the cases themselves, they are pretty amateur in the finished product:

    - The sliding bottom is about 50/50 for being a good fit vs. sliding right out. Some are the wrong length and extend from the end of the case, albeit not a lot. But still.

    - Visible cut marks in the acrylic

    - Most of the corners are ridged and ugly

    - The one rounded end on the top has minor heat bulge

The PET cases on the other hand, might be my favorite kind I've tried out of 4-5 kinds. Very happy with those. I would not buy acrylic there again.

Anything is possible, their goal should be to be "flawless". As a company you don't strive to be "good" you strive to be "flawless or perfect" especially when it comes to grading. Build a strong brand first, then let the happy customers promote your brand for you. Maybe WATA should focus more on quality control and customer service rather than trying to get their name in the headlines. As for RoyalT, he HAD to take this public since they were not responding to him in any way possible, which shows he had zero confidence in them when they choose not to take his issues seriously. I bet any money they responded in a hurry after this went public... Like Wolfman said this completely diminishes their reputation,  especially with their inability in correcting a idiotic (not silly) mistake like this, when there were told about it numerous times. Kinda hard to defend this one...

    This.

How did you pay? PayPal costs 9 Euros which is against their Terms Of Service.

Used Paypal. Wasn't aware of that. On the invoice it is added as "payment cost", so PP might not even be aware they do this either.

They asked me to confirm address the next day, so we'll see. $312 CAD shipped for 15 acrylic, 50 GBA PET, and 1 NES PET.
