25 - UnderMole from Castlevania: The Adventure [Nintendo Game Boy - 1989]

This is probably the grossest monster I've ever drawn, and it's all your fault @ZeldaFreak haha.

That looks like it could be one of night creatures from the Castlevania Netflix series.

Well we got Kirk “the definition of average” Cousins dropping 450 yards and 0 sacks dropping back 45x on “the best defense in the nfl” without Justin Jefferson, so anything possible really at this point. Maybe you’ll get lucky and it’ll come down to a field goal for the 49ers lmao

God I sound like skinny. Plus we lost to the browns already so we done with losing to Skyline Chiliville

It looks like Purdy might be out with a concussion, but that probably means that CMC will just tear up the Bengals' defense on every play.

    #32 Clutch- Mob Goes Wild

If The Company Band was featured, one had to know the Clutch was going to find its way on here eventually. Once those opening chords start up, I knew I was in for a good time. Jean Paul Gaster is also among my favorite drummers.

For those who don't know, my career is that of a chef. Back in my early 20s I did an internship at Hotel Fort Des Moines way out in Iowa. I made quick friends with the Sous Chef at the restaurant they placed me at. He was an old school metal head. His journey into metal was finding an old cassette of Metallica's Metal Up Your Ass as a young teenager, taking it home and listening to it and it changing his life. Long story short, we would take turns with the radio at work, driving everyone crazy of course. According to our Mexican Salad Chef Javier, our "Musica es El Diablo." He would show me Slayer, I would show him Opeth. He would show me Testament, I would show him Soilwork. One day he showed me Clutch. That's when I discovered I liked blues. He played the Blast Tyrant album and that changed my life. Part Southern rock, part stoner metal, but just ever so groovy. They may not be the type of band to share a stage with dudes covered in corpse paint, but their lack of image and disinterest in having a brand for themselves makes them pretty damn metal in my eyes!

It's cool to see this one. Probably my favorite song of theirs.

Baylor changed its offense completely and somehow won.  The difference was the fumble return on the kickoff.  Without that (or if UC can force its own turnover) then Baylor loses.

Might be the last game we win this season, or we could win 2 or 3 more.  I can't tell.

I don't know why Cincinnati continues to run a 6th year senior QB out there every week that can't do anything on offense. He should have been benched weeks ago to get someone experience for next year. It also didn't help that they hired a mediocre coach from Louisville that was supposedly on the verge of being fired last season. He has no energy at all and his postgame press conferences of "Aw shucks, we tried, but we lost again" are starting to get old quick. I can't remember a team that looked this bad since Tommy Tuberville took the job here to collect one more paycheck before he retired. It's embarrassing.

I have no idea what is going to happen in that game, but I wouldn't rule out some embarrassing negative rushing yards performance from Baylor.  Barring something ridiculous like turning it over 4 times, you will win.

The games are usually just streamed on Youtube by some friendly fan in Vietnam or Russia.  Just search for Baylor v Cincinnati on Youtube after the game starts and I bet you will catch it.

Otherwise, the ESPN/Disney+ bundle is a pretty cheap add-on for Hulu.  Plus, with Hulu, you can sign up and immediately quit.  You'll pay a pro-rated amount until the 25th of the month.  If you quit right after you sign up, you'll never pay again and will be able to watch from the 21st (if you sign up on Saturday) until the 25th.  In the end, this will probably cost you less than $10.

    And oh yeah . . . BROWNIES!

This game has been just as bad as I thought it would be. Every week the Bearcats look like a team that's totally unprepared.

it seems like this thread is supposed to be for food you actually COOK, but i'm going to take it in another direction.

i'm kind of obsessive, and like to try all the flavors of Mountain Dew. So, naturally, i had to track down a bag of the Dew-flavored Doritos and give them a shot. Sure, they only released in Australia, and they expired in 2020, but how bad can they be?

Mountain Dew Doritos would have to be @docile tapeworm's perfect food.

And there's a reason why the saying, more is not always better exists.  And that's what this is, it's asking is what you have good enough to stand, or do you need more?  I'd argue no.  Game design also seems to show when something was done well and they try and do it again, it's commonly called failing to re-invent the wheel. 🙂

    Enjoy the paradox of choice.

If nothing else, I do enjoy a good paradox.

Okay.... so you check out Mario Wonder, and it's trippy and that's kinda neat, but what if... WHAT IF... it's not as good as SMB3, and it doesn't give you that nostalgic fuelled feeling of pure calm and comfort??? WHAT THEN???

Mario Wonder is probably good, but not great when you compare it to SMB3. 😏

Okay so you get to play your "new" game a few times, but you'll always be left knowing that you will NEVER get to play SMB3 again. You will never know the thrill of finding a hidden Tanooki suit and changing into a statue to evade your enemies ever again. NEVER.

You are willing to bet this feeling just because you want to "try it out". 😳

What is this world coming to?

    Also... in all seriousness....

Yeah there's probably some really cool games coming out that are going to melt my brain. I get that. I respect that.

Just funny because this forum is based on love of all the OLD games most of us have played since childhood which we're still holding onto. People are willing to risk that (AND the modern games they've played up to this point) for games that "might" be good??? 🤔

Can't imagine being like "Nope... never going to play SMB3, Contra, Double Dragon II, or ANY OTHER SWEET GAME FROM THE NES I'VE EVER PLAYED. Battletoads, nope. TMNT, nope. Mega Man, NOPE! Fuck the Blue Bomber!!! He's dead to me!"

    Camman. 🙈

This guy gets it! There's 35+ years of games that I've already played and I know are awesome, so I don't know how everything else combined could possibly match that level of quality.

This is a gaming site, let's make it simple...GPS is pretty much a mini map for IRL

I got lost in the woods once and the GPS said to go North, West, South, West which put me back in the clear even though I was just South of a graveyard.
