At least you didn't go to Taco Bell instead. That never ends well.

God knows what jail cell @Bearcat-Doug and @docile tapeworm would be sharing right now without the heavy burden of proof placed on the state in criminal prosecutions.
I believe skinny likes to refer to it as the "county hotel".

I did make a couple efforts at the 100 yard dash. Even a few quick playthroughs destroyed my thumbs, and I got nowhere scorewise. Being out of the running, it was easy to say no thanks on that..
I had a feeling that was what happened. When we played Track & Field, I felt it for weeks.

It's a fun game, but I never got around to finishing it. 7/10.

Soooo, at first I thought maybe you had done this to create a "soft reset", maybe for a game like Batman Return of the Joker, but it's sounding like it was just to not have to get up. Just wanna make sure I'm clear...
Skinny didn't want to get up or have to share his NES in case someone came over and wanted to play a two player game.

Gold medal challenge - ROUGH on the already sore thumbs. I better ice them up @Bearcat-Doug style
I take it that you decided to save your thumbs for next year instead of posting a score.

You're taking slacking lessons from skinny aren't you?

Didn’t you once modify a controller just so you wouldn’t have to get up every time to reset your nes?
Good old skinny and his innovations of laziness.

It is fun but also damn hard. Not as hard as Code Name Viper though. I remember that contest.
I've never played Code Name Viper or Rolling Thunder. I'll have to give them a try.

Good idea. When we played Track & Field back in 2015, I felt it for weeks.

Got my first half-assed score up. I’m not very good at these games.
It's still good to see the people's champ in action!

I grew up on F-Zero which probably shaped my preferences as a faster, twitchier game. SMK rewards drifts, jumps, and little shortcuts a lot more. It's kind of amazing how little they have in common considering they're both SNES mode 7 racers.
On SNES, N64, and GC I always compare the Mario Kart to F-Zero and F-Zero comes out ahead. That's why they had to stop making them, they were outshining their own Mario games
8/10 still
Same here. I like F-Zero better, but it's still a solid 8/10.

I was watching when they showed him on the sideline trying to throw a football and he couldn’t even get halfway through the throwing motion. Just shaking his head no
Seeing him try to throw the ball and having it just fall out of his hand basically confirmed the worst case scenario.

Burrow done.
I actually watched a quarter of the game for once, and immediately assumed he'd torn something when they showed him in the sideline.
Having him done for the season is tough, but given the slow start and remaining schedule, the Bengals would have had a tough time making the playoffs even with Burrow.

If only it were that simple... ...It's less fun w/o the whole gang though.. Not that I mind seeing some newer blood gettin' a shot but Gloves, BearCat and Wormy all sittin' out? The World teeters on the brink....
It looks like you have some tough competition after all, but I'm still betting on you to take home the championship.
