I played a game of Black Box Baseball on a lark and beat the cpu, so Baseball is done, though I didn't bother taking a picture since, well.... it's Baseball...

I saw ads for like a few days a month or two ago when they did that ridiculous "turn off your ad blocker" stunt, but that was sure short lived lmao. Idiots.
I've heard it's a lot tougher to dodge the ads if you're using a cellphone, but on a pc there's no reason to ever see an ad on youtube, notwithstanding the ones that are inserted into the runtime of the video by the creator, though they can be skipped easily enough with the bar at the bottom of the video...

Seems to me that Youtube encourages longer videos. Yes they do "reel"-type stuff, but good luck finding much videogaming related stuff under 10 minutes; most of it runs about 20 if my algorithmic feed is any indication - and I rarely click on any such things.
To say nothing of the ads, many of which I've been noticing are 5 to 30 (!) minutes now.
I'm seeing the opposite; I didn't even know that youtube had shorts until maybe a year ago, and now half the shit I see are these stupid vertical videos made for cell phone users who just want to be entertained for a few seconds before their next finger swipe...
Also, I haven't seen an ad on youtube in literally years...

his videos could probably be cut in half if he didn't feel the need to explicitly explain everything.
I agree with the overly long part. His videos have been getting so ridiculously long that the last one to drop (another Punch Out one) was over two hours... TWO FREAKING HOURS!!!! (like 2:14 or something). I don't mind watching maybe a 30 minute youtube video if it's really entertaining, but I'm not watching Hollywood movie-length videos on the speedrunning history of a single game.
The rest of youtube is moving toward "shorts" to match the thirty second attention span of the Tik Tok generation, meanwhile Summoning Salt is like, "fuck that! I'm going to top the run time of Lawrence of Arabia..."

Funny you guys mention it about Orb-3D, I've really enjoyed that game and played through it 2 or 3 times. There are some levels which are quite difficult and it can get frustrating, but I like it. I wouldn't say it's my favorite game ever, but definitely not a one-and-done, never play it again type.
I thought going in that it was a really cool concept, and all the different "enigmas" were definitely interesting (chess, slot machine, race cars, and on and on) but the actual gameplay gets super frustrating when every few seconds I'm screaming in my head: "Why can't I just hit that one specific spot on the screeeeeeen... sonuvabitch!!!!!!). They somehow found a way to make a really cool concept ridiculously frustrating, so I couldn't really recommend anyone ever playing it for "fun."

Actually, if this is in anyone's head, it's LaFleur. Will he ever get the Niners playoff monkey off their chests...
We'll find out in a week; the Packers will be playing fast and loose while the Niners are shaking off the rust from their bye week. Do you remember 2010 when the Packers were the #6 seed and not really considered much more than fodder in the first round? Well a couple of weeks later everyone was saying, "who the fuck is Aaron Rodgers?!?" ...and a few weeks after that they were the champs. Now, I'm not saying that's going to happen again this year, but I do see a lot of similarities between this Packers team and that one, and anything can happen in a tournament of single-elimination games...

The perfect ending here in sight...
Cowboys get completely shellacked. Make a last minute rally to try and pull one out but have their hearts re-broken.
Packers go into Niners games with questions in the back of their head about nearly blowing a 30+ lead. Come on teams, you can do it!
The Packers are too young and too inexperienced to be playing head games with themselves. If I was a Niners fan, I would not want to be playing them next weekend; Love is just starting to blossom and they have literally nothing to lose. If they got absolutely blown away by the Niners this would still be considered a "successful" season for them by a very wide margin.
Packers look dangerous; you should be very concerned...

I really dig the box art you've got for this release, but just to be clear, is this the same game that was already released for the NES under the name "Dead Tomb" a couple of years ago?

It's been 30 years since a Canadian team won the cup, so I guess practice practice practice doesn't work anymore, either.
I was gonna come in here to say just this on behalf of the "correctly pronouncing decals" folks, but you beat me to it, so I'll say this instead: look up how many captains of US teams winning the cup have been Canadian in the last thirty years, or, better yet, look up the percentage of each championship roster that has been Canadian in the last thirty years and you'll see that we win it every damn time, just not within our own geographical borders...

The Master List on gamefaqs (link in first post) has been updated with the three titles in the above posts from Trifecta plus two new variants: a round seal Spy vs Spy thanks to @Divingninja and NES Play Action Football with a star manual thanks to @Futureman. Goonies never say die....

I intend to stand off at some distance, alone, wearing a black brimmed hat, and carrying a mysterious briefcase. As the rain starts to pour down and the priest and rest of the mourners disperse, I will slowly stride towards your grave, black umbrella held aloft. Once I am upon your final resting place, I will check that I remain unobserved before placing a single red rose on your gravestone along with an unmarked envelope. The note inside the envelope comprises three words:
"Morby did it."
RIP in peace, friend.
He does have a bunch of really rare NES guides that I dream about at night... just saying...

Is there anybody that played a game with great gameplay, but the story was shit, so it turned you off from the game?
I'm probably an outlier, but this would literally never happen to me since I don't play video games for the stories, but for the gameplay itself...

I know @scaryice hasn't put the bonuses up yet...
I'm kinda hoping he doesn't so we can just focus on beating the actual core (licensed) library this year...

Never mind the warranty info - how about those sumbitches that put the barcode on the spines *and* had the gall to print the text from bottom to top instead of top to bottom... (I'm looking at you, Jaleco... and Activision to a lesser extent).
