  1. Does anyone here happen to know of any way to play Pony Quest, a Final Fantasy 1 rom hack? As far as I could tell, the game was sold only at conventions in the mid 2010s and currently on ebay there are two copies and the sellers are asking for $3500 for the game. I've reached out to the author of the rom hack, NPCTENDO, through several online forms over the past year or so and have not heard back from them. I just want to play the game, but definitely not for $3500. On the off chance that someone has a copy to sell, I'd be interested in buying it. Thanks,
  2. No charms yet, but I'm close on the VB complete set. Just need Waterworld and Jack Bros. Went from only Virtual Wario Land to having one consolized VB, a VB complete in box out of the blue, and then picking up game throughout the last year. Come to think of it, I can easily get the homebrew and import ones too. I'll have to take some photos where I get home.
  3. Update: I'm up to paying around $1,000 for both the manual and box as a set. Hit me up. Thanks!
  4. View Advert [WTB}Shantae Box and Manual (Gameboy Color) Update 2: Lets up it to $1500 to $2,000 for both the manual and box, depending on condition. Update: I'm up to paying around $1,000 for both the manual and box. Hit me up. Thanks! Hello, This is a big ask, but I thought I'd throw in out there. I'm in search of the box and manual for Shantae for the Gameboy Color. I've had the cart for years and would like to complete it. I'm not too picky on condition. Thank you, Advertiser Yoshi Date 05/24/2021 Price $1,500.00 Category WTB
  5. No way! I was in Dickinson for a week last year for three property assessments. I thought it was a real nice place and I know exactly what game store you are talking about. I shopped there between jobs and brought several games and a Duck Hunt amiibo home. They had a sweet looking Master Sword for sale, but I doubt I would be able to get that through TSA and on an airplane. Be sure to check out the Geese in Flight outdoor sculpture to the east of Dickinson, along Interstate 94. The Dinosaur museum was great too.
  6. Mode 7 Chip's Challenge Mode? Awesome.
  7. Happy Birthday!

  8. This hurts. I've been marathoning the Star Trek series on Netflix and finished DS9 a few weeks ago. Odo was a great character and you could sense his growth throughout the series. His back and fourth with Quark was always great. It still stings that we lost Nog (Aron Eisenberg) and DC Fontana earlier this year.
  9. Thanks everyone, I'll keep an eye out for the Justifier.
  10. Here is my list, roughly in order of experience: Super Mario Bros./Legend of Zelda: The first two games I ever played and I was in love immediately. Mega Man 2: Found this game for $5 at a flea market and fell in love with the series. Super Mario Bros. 3: Mario 3 took everything I loved about Super Mario Bros. and expanded upon it. Kirby's Adventure: Oh man, one of my all time favorites. I played and 100%ed this game many times over. Super Mario World: It goes without saying, it took the Mario 3 formula and further expanded upon it. And introduced yoshi... Sonic The Hedgehog 2: Great gameplay, great music, a fantastic sequel. Blast Corp/Star Fox 64: The Nintendo 64 was my first system after the NES.My first N64 games. I played them so much and love them to this day. Super Mario 64: The pinnacle of 3D platforming, what a fantastic game. When I first got it, I played it for hours on end and the first encounter with the piano scared the crap out of me. Banjo-Kazooie: This game took everything great about Mario 64 and expanded upon it. While I still love Mario 64, Rare took the Mario 64 blueprints and expanded upon the genre. This game establish my enjoyment of Rareware games. Mario Kart 64: Had a ton of fun in single player and multiplayer. The best Battle Mode in any Mario Kart, in my opinion. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Like Mario 64, this game brought another classic to 3D Super Smash Bros: Played this soooo much. Had a great time and enjoyed messing with gameshark codes to play as Metal Mario, Giant DK, Master Hand, and the fighting polygon team. Word of warning, those codes had a side effect of forcing you to play as Mario, no matter what character you chose, unless you wiped the game save. Yoshi's Island: I was really late to the party, but the wait was worth it. Beautiful graphics, great music, and great gameplay made this game a true gem. Metroid Fusion: This is the first game I played of the series and made me a huge fan of the series. Rhythm Heaven Fever: What a great game. This game got me into the series and I now have beaten all of the games. I even imported the physical copy of the 3DS version before it was released in English and made my way through the original GBA release. And now for the more recent: Puyo-Puyo Tetris: Always been a big fan of Tetris and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, so this game was a no brainier. We still play this at family gatherings. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: My dream came true with getting Banjo and Kazooie in this year, so the rest it just icing. I have reached smash nirvana and I have nothing but best wishes for the characters you desire. Undertale: This game came out of the blue when someone recommended it to me and I loved it. It was an interesting experience playing Earthbound and Undertale simultaneously.
  11. I recently picked up Area 51 for the PS1 and I tried using the Namco GunCon and it did not appear to work. The manual mentions light guns, but does not provide any specific manufactures. I only had the GunCon to test. I want to surprise my dad with this game. We used to play it all of the time in arcades. Thank you.
  12. I've been a fan of Yoshi since I first saw him in Super Mario World. This current avatar came from: https://www.mariowiki.com/LINE

  15. Hello everyone, I'm excited for the new forum and looking towards getting back in the groove with the game contests and watching the homebrew scene. Major props to the site designers, I'm already a huge fan of the quality of life improvements.
