  1. I know that the Famicom Gimmick! had much much better music than the NES Mr. Gimmick. Does anyone know if the RetroZone release had the music of the Famicom or NES? Oh, and if anyone has the Famicom release for trade let me know
  2. Yeah, pretty much It is a nice steelbook case, which you're right begs the question why not just release the steelbook instead of adding the Genesis case? Can't say I know the answer...
  3. Well, you can always just go with the normal edition. I think a lot of people do like some extra swag with their games, so this is quite nice in my opinion, and since it's an open order there's no worry about scalpers.
  4. It actually looks like this is a pre-order, and not a collector's edition but a "classic edition" PREORDERS CLOSE ONE WEEK AFTER THE DIGITAL RELEASE (DATE TBD)
  5. I think even saying they "donated" the items is a bit of a stretch. Apparently 1)They had no place to sell them. 2)They are under investigation. 3)Apparently the storage unit they were using kicked them out after finding out what they were doing - running it as a place of business which is usually against contract. So, as no one should be surprised, they did absolutely nothing out of compassion or remorse. They are...
  6. Some shits are amassing and have amassed thousands upon thousands of bottles of hand sanitizers, masks, etc. all in the name of making a buck during this crisis. I posted this in my thread (see below) -- I won't repeat what I said, but needless to say I pray these scum get what's coming to them...
  7. "Over the next three days, Noah Colvin took a 1,300-mile road trip across Tennessee and into Kentucky, filling a U-Haul truck with thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer and thousands of packs of antibacterial wipes...“From being in a situation where what I’ve got coming and going could potentially put my family in a really good place financially to ‘What the heck am I going to do with all of this?’” ...An official at the Washington attorney general’s office said the agency believed it could apply the state’s consumer-protection law to sue platforms or sellers, even if they aren’t in Washington, as long as they were trying to sell to Washington residents...Mr. Colvin does not believe he was price gouging. While he charged $20 on Amazon for two bottles of Purell that retail for $1 each...He thought about it more. “I honestly feel like it’s a public service,” he added. “I’m being paid for my public service.” These people are the shit of the Earth. They are one of the reasons why people are eyeing socialism more, because such filth is allowed to make money at the expensive and literal health of the public. There are laws against this, and what I truly hope will happen is 1)These scum-shit resellers are stuck with all their items unable to sell them. 2)They get sued/indicted by the government for price gauging. 3)They also get COVID-19. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/he-has-17700-bottles-of-hand-sanitizer-and-nowhere-to-sell-them/ar-BB11blvS
  8. For a long time I thought the title was "Showdown" which would make sense. But it's not. I have never been able to ascertain an official response as to why it's called "Shodown". Does anyone know? Yes, I googled it and there are a few "ideas/answers" none of which I buy.
  9. I want to pass too... but then you know, one day you might just wake up and say "damn, I kinda want it..." and then everyone is selling it on ebay for $300, and you're stuck! Have to say, a Switch port would be pretty sweet...
  10. A lot of artbooks are actually elongated because that is often the best way to show large/long art So I don't mind it, besides diversity is good!
  11. 100+ pages! it better be a hardcover... I rather hate softcover books! For me, the biggest draw is the fabulous soundtrack, but I'm a big video game music guy. The original C&C and Red Alert was also released on the PS1! My favorite though, was easily Red Alert 2. This "remastered" edition includes the first C&C and Red Alert, which are easily the least interesting of all C&C games. Also, I hate giving EA any of my money. So may end up being a pass. Although that soundtrack...
  12. This is so cool! but so expensive, and it doesn't actually come with a physical copy of the game!! But so cool. Anyone going to splurge on this?
  13. That's really cool, I hope they release a limited edition. I feel a game like this could include so much information on the subject matter... oh, and Tthere was also a Papers Please movie
  14. Definitely don't have to agree with Bernie, but seriously...
  15. I think people often say "rare" and mean "difficult to find". In essence, it means the same thing. For instance, if a new Zelda game had only 50,000 copies made, I think everyone would call it "exceedingly rare" because it would be difficult to find and due to the scarcity very expensive. On the other hand, an indie game with 20,000 copies might be very easy to find. It depends on how popular and coveted the title is.
  16. I'm guessing not retail for most of it, but some of it probably isn't collectible like it once was. Post a list of what you have for sale.
  17. I have Paper Mario and Metroid Prime 2 (sealed). What do you have for trade?
  18. I have a mint copy for sale or trade, but it's not sealed. However, it really is mint and complete.
  19. Have Dragon Quest V - complete and like new. Dragon Quest IX - new and sealed What do you have for trade?
  20. Yeah, I wonder if people also didn't show up (such as Sony) because of the coronavirus? Regardless, I was not worried and had a wonderful time. I even picked up a game
