  1. Hahah, it's all good, I really had expected to still make it that year so it was a big blow. It's crazy IMO that 8 people 1 lifed it, out of 9 since the 10th person didnt play The upside is I'm just good at the game now. No need to super-practice the early stuff over and over, I did a 1cc run last night with only medium effort and got to the red boss - kinda just blew it cause I was tired. I would consider it pretty good. Also the snow level gave me no trouble at all, I usually just take a lot of damage there. And I actually burned a life on Rocksteady on this run, so in a way that makes the run look better. This time I'm gonna beat that dirty bastard Krang!
  2. I wasnt too great at this one but it was enjoyable... for a shooter. Nice win @PII !!!
  3. Played a bit tonight, gonna try more tomorrow, this is never my genre but I've always liked this one so it's fun to take a stab at it. Got to level 2 boss, then practiced looping the levels. I'll probably just learn to loop the levels I can manage and then hopefully just spend it on horses for the rest and just get as far as I can, tiebreaker points be damned if I can get farther by buying them.
  4. Yeah on the bonus levels I only managed to get one loop, I wish I could say it was more but I'm pretty certain it wasn't. 10K each and it probably stacks im guessing? Anyway I was different, I really liked the game. I'm a sucker for this theme though. I held on to a CIB of it for a bit but I think I sold it. It might be around here somewhere though honestly
  5. It seemed pretty solid yeah and with some time in and with a real controller it could've been good. I'm the same, I don't like watching basketball all that much, still a pretty good game though. Pretty much seemed better than Double Dribble, but that didnt really surprise me either. I'm gonna pretty much just blame it on my sickness. Pipe Dream was the true upset. I practiced throughout the week just getting lazy 150K scores then tried one Saturday night and legit got the 700K+ first try. I thought it would get me another silver, didn't even play more. But you tapped into it, I think we were doing the same thing, just playing it out patiently and doing fairly good on most levels. I wasn't getting like suuuper insane bonuses, but I could curl pretty good and keep it alive for a while, my highest bonus point value on a single level was just over 100K. I wasn't very good at all at the bonus levels themselves though.
  6. I laughed at all this, it was not just internet lols, my attempt was pretty much a last ditch effort coz I was actually under the weather a bit over the weekend. I just played with keyboard and did a single round. I still know what you're saying Wiz, the 3's are so-so I was getting a few of them but then usually they'd get 2 points in return. I was also really bad for straight up giving away the ball when I had it on the sidelines in their end, I did that a lot, so that's -2 every time basically. Maybe there was an opportunity to get a good placement here. But I don't know... this wasn't my game
  7. Put up a 700k+ score. I might still try another one tomorrow. Sweet game.
  8. I've just never been good at Kung Fu but I am up for this challenge. It's about pipes right?
  9. Damn I havent played yet but this game's gonna wreck me. Reserved.
  10. I 100% agree and the randomness definitely kept it fresh. The way the house layouts combo and segue together is interesting, I found myself enjoying certain layouts more. Some combos are brutal like the non-subscriber house with the dog segued into the cemetary, to go through the fence off the ramp is possible but you gotta slow right down and veer left to miss the fence. Worse with the garbage can there too.
  11. Thanks man. I was freaking out cause my run was blowing up as I approached 175k. Then I skirted disaster but missed a crucial paper refill, which made me miss easy points then made me die (had no papers to defend with). So i was like dayuum I only knew you had 175something until I checked. Played later and got 168. Lots of mistakes on that one. It's pretty hard to keep up the perfect subscriptions
  12. Wow! I feel less bad about not reaching the 240 bar. Think I pulled 2nd...just....if im reading this correctly. My last two hours of playing didnt get me any higher, but there were some big mistakes
  13. I screwed up a great run where I went into middle with 9 lives and even retained it for a few days. Think I'm in good shape to at least attempt the victory
  14. The key is going slow. Even when you dont want to go slow and its just a straightaway, do it anyway and give yourself time to breathe during the run. And you usually want to confront not avoid enemies. This game is basically the opposite of Marble Madness
  15. Your score is defs good cause I played quite a bit last night after posting and still havent come up to it. Nothing that cant be remedied, but ya know, I still havent done it
  16. Damn I missed some Thursday night action anyway I can totally beat @Jeevan's score, I've been getting kind of hung up on getting perfect subscriber runs on easy street but I can stay alive
  17. I got an early one here. Really digging this one, this is gonna be a great week. 175,250
  18. I know, its brutal. Usually even if I'm bad I slog through. I'm all right though, I have a nice slice of gaming time this weekend so instead of playin this I'll comb the roster and pre-play some stuff. I expect devious rulesets! Despite this I can gain more than 3 points in the long haul with enough preparation now.
