When I completed my 64 set (no longer own in full) I finished with 3 different titles for each type of piece. I can't remember the last box though. Last item was common, Bust-a-move 2 manual, I just BIN'ned a CI for 20ish. I still got it, it has a solid place but I dumped BAM99 a few years ago cause the sequel just fills the niche better. It was a really tough call both games have merits. So last cart was Snowboard Kids 1, I $20 BIN'ned it too. I had acquired a pretty shitty SK1 cart when I was a noob but I sold it valued at $15 along with a couple other games cause I wasn't looking to get em all at the time, that wasnt till acquiring CIB's. That dude who bought my noob lot ended up selling me sculptors cut CIB a few years later, after we met up at Tims for a second deal and he mentioned he had one. That was then was a really straightforward deal just went to his flea market booth couple days later and bought it for 50. The lesson for me was to take my time on deals because there can always be something else lurking and it's epic when it supersedes any original deals. And also that Snowboard Kids 1 suxx woo ha SC for the win

Yeah i just counted through I think I'm in 4th but everything else is same as leaderboard. Lately Ive just been trying my hand at playing on the final Sunday only. It would be one my better time to point value translations through the year if not the best, only spent 30 minutes on it. But then again it depends on what stratosphere mbd's score is in. Anyway my reflexes have improved generally but lesson learned about not prepping enough, I know there's quite a few potential points I left on the table in several contests. If low seed it be it's all on me

Hmm yeah I dunno im not really havin too good a go here, I thought this was in my wheelhouse but a few in game limiting factors are seemingly working against me here (namely, one-hit deaths but maybe more importantly the strength of the enemies without powerups). Just not doin too good. That's a plus for you though

Hahaha yeah I've done that but it's the case at this time in the season where I'm moreso picking up and playing on last day, not really hitting my own standards. Even Thunder & Lightning was a fail for me cause I had prior experience, think I coulda been a contender for 1st. It's still been a good shot and I think I'll get a tourney spot right? I didnt really check on how many slots there were. Next year I'm going uber serious though. Gonna spend this winter perfecting several gaming stations, I've gained lots of space in the past year. Startin in POW as we speak

Congrats man. I haven't started yet - if you're that high up you've 99.9% locked the genre. (I have to leave that 0.01% to make you a little nervous). I have essentially no familiarity with POW, i played it once in a contest for the minimum.

I definitely think I'd step up to the plate more if it happened to be a team week. also scoring individual points simultaneously, those would be truly competitive weeks even moreso than what we've seen. In all the best games where the extra drive matters (yes I agree for some random filler game it wouldnt live up to the hype)
