took way longer than expected to get a 1st place finish. was pretty consistently in the top 5 tho. 

lots of fun. i'm gonna have to set a timer to play this, or i will play all night.

first 2 episodes were really enjoyable.

skipped the 3rd because RPGs aren't really my thing.

the rest of the series was pretty meh.

Ms. Pac-Man got me laid once, which i can't specifically say for any other game.

i like to think Legend of Zelda has honed my problem solving skills.

My favorite Bonds are Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan.  Connery is great, but his Bond is a bit too rape-y for me to enjoy anymore.

my vote for favorite movie went to Goldeneye. I think i am tainted by my love of the n64 game. the newer Casino Royale is probably the legitimate best movie of the lot though. Excellent in all regards.

they are not showing up correctly for me. this is on desktop with the dark theme (i guess that much is obvious by looking at the pic).  i don't think it's only on my end, but i could be mistaken.

i rated this an 8. it may be a bit higher than it deserves, but it's Zelda and i did love the game when it came out.

a loved the setting. the gameplay was fun, although it didn't have a ton of advances or improvements over the last couple games. the NPCs were colorful and interesting, even if Fi was quite overbearing. i loved the first 2/3rds of this game. once you had to start revisiting the areas you'd already been to i found it repetitive and dull (relatively speaking. i still enjoyed it).  and as @DefaultGen mentioned, fighting the Imprisoned 3 times was just ridiculous. But the colors, the setting, the storyline, the Loftwings..... i really enjoyed this game.

side note: i was working at Target and there was a massive discount on this game at one point. We had a ton of copies left....i'm talking 30+ for a game that was over a year old. Some guy came in and asked how many he could buy. i sold him a full case (i don't think it was unopened but it might have been). i tried keeping an eye on eBay to see if i could spot him, but no luck. Also never saw the box go up for sale, even though i expected it to since it clearly said "Legend of Zelda" on the side. 

i worked at Target for a few years and when we weren't busy i'd hope on the game kiosks for a quick round. they only were around for a few months, but i played a decent amount of Playstation All Stars Battle Royale or whatever it's called. i also played Mario Party (9? 10?) a bunch. enough to beat it a few times to unlock stuff.

before that, i worked for a smaller chain (shout out to Hastings!) before they went out of business. a Soul Calibur game was releasing and we were hosting a tournament, so i played a bunch beforehand so i could put on a highlight performance.

the NES is my favorite system of all time. this may seem counterintuitive, but based on that i chose 90-94. yes, the SNES and Genesis both released and were more popular during this time, but i never owned them growing up. my love of the NES largely is due to it being my only console for such a long period of time.

in a different way, for me 95-99 also has a lot of nostalgia that is harder to recreate. i was in jr high/high school during this time. i bought an n64 brand new (the first system i bought with my own money- i still have it and it still works!) and spent countless hours with friends playing Mario Kart, Goldeneye, and WCW/nWo Revenge. i sure as hell don't miss high school, but i do miss all of the great time with friends.

i never used to leave feedback at all. i was just a buyer, and when someone has 10,000+ already, what's the point?

it was the old NA thread that changed my opinion on this. i now leave positive feedback any time i can. as a buyer, as soon as i receive and test the item. as a seller, i leave it at the same time as providing a tracking number.

i never expect the other person to leave it, as it's about a 50/50 split.

there were definitely some pieces missing before it hit my stop.

basically any franchise that started after the PS2 era.

wow, i'm not huge into anime but i absolutely adore Cowboy Bebop. I've never heard of the Mish-Mash Blues episode so i will be checking that out ASAP.

@fox, you've got killer taste. i love almost all of those shows (the animation on ReBoot is just too much bad CGI for me). Justice League/JLU ranks among my favorite animated series.

ok, i finally pulled the trigger and bought an external hard drive specifically to house all of my cartoons, so that i can watch any of them on demand on my TV. 

So. I'm looking for suggestions for great but underrated cartoon series. My personal primary years of interest are mid 80s-mid 90s, but i want to have everything that's great. I started with all the classic 80s stuff (G.I. Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, etc.) and then focused on the 90s superhero stuff (Batman, X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman, Tick) so that's my background. But i'm extremely interested in anything you liked as a kid / still like / guilty pleasures / enjoy watching with your kid(s) / and anything else you think is worth watching. Any one-offs / made-for-tv specials / straight to vhs or dvd releases are more than welcome as well, because that's probably my biggest blind spot. 

Some examples of lesser-known cartoons that i have but want to experience:

Dino-Riders (1988)

Captain N: the Game Master (1989)

Toxic Crusaders (1991)

voted 7. liked this movie quite a bit. easily my favorite non-Batman Christopher Nolan film, although i am really intrigued by the teaser trailer for Tenet that i saw. 

never really understood the "you just don't get it" argument for this film. people seemed to think the plot was ridiculously complicated, but i thought the movie presented and explained its world quite well. 

tried playing it a few months back. the controls and espicially the camera were horrid and ruined the game for me. was utterly frustrated and quit after a bit more than an hour
