I was so mushy I even had forgotten to set the participation score till the kind @Bearcat-Doug reminded me of it.

Level 15 may be a bit too easy of a start level, but alas.
I'd much rather have a level 18 start, but I woke up feeling kind.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT IS TIME!
IT IS TIME FOR TETRIS!!!

This year, we will do things a bit different and we will follow the rules for Classic Tetris World Championship since the skill of our players is so high!
With no further ado, here's the RULES:

• Play on type A
• Start at level 15  (I am being VERY kind to you all) - Hold A while picking level 5 to pick level 15
• Highest score wins
• In case two or more players reach 999,999 points, the one that reached it on the lowest level will win
• Participation: 9,000 (half the score value of a tetris on level 15)
• Genre: Puzzle

The contest ends Sunday, 08/02/20 at 11 PM VGS time.  Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed.  You must take a picture of your computer monitor.  There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers.  Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator.  Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests.  The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed.  Good luck everyone and have fun.

Everyone who posts a picture will get 1 point in the geral standing, and will also have 1 point subtracted from their score for daring to post a picture.
The exception to this is the one who we deem the winner of this week.
The winner gets 2 points towards the geral standing, but also gets 2 points subtracted from his tournament standing for daring to post a picture.

TL;DR; No one is getting any points from this to not screw up all my coding and planning to keep the score board running, FFS!

• Your drawing skills will be judged by very talented artists (@BortLicensePlate @CasualCart) and the two art scrubs @BeaIank and @guillavoie
