It is time for our FINAL GAME OF the 2022 VGS NES WEEKLY CONTEST! This week, we have the race for the title, with @PII leading over @Dr. Morbis by 7 points. @Dr. Morbis needs to win and @PIIfinish 4th or worse to take the title! For this week, we are playing Burger Time! The rules are as follow: 1 player only Play until Game Over or until you reach stage 7 Take your picture on the Title Screen if you don’t loop the game back to stage 1 If you loop the game back to stage 1, you must stop playing and take your picture. This will prove you have beaten the game. There are 6 stages, so once you get to stage 7 (7 burgers on the left side), you stop. Anyone who plays any of the game after the first loop will have their score disqualified. Highest score wins GENRE: Arcade The contest ends Sunday, 11/06/22 at 11 PM VGS time. Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed. You must take a picture of your computer monitor. There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers. Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator. Final standings posted. With a lead of 3 points, @Dr. Morbistakes the crown of the 2022 NES VGS WEEKLY CONTEST SHOOTER GENRE! Hooray for the new champion!

Whichever died first, so do your best to get the highest level monster to die first. And you can pause the game while the death animation is playing to take your picture.

That's exactly how it will run. And I will also accept a timer screenshot along with your game completion screenshot as a proof of time. Video will be preferable, but we will work this way.

Manipulating tons of enemy off screen, manipulating them to kill themselves in the stage hazards and taking it very, very slowly. It wasn't fun. Playing for highscore isn't fun either because it is all about spamming the same high scoring attack. You will be timing your runs.

You guys think you will be playing Double Dragon 2... for score?

You have to keep them both alive. Once you die for the first time, be it with Godzilla or Mothra, your run is over. And yes. Furthest planet (which is tied to monster level), level and score.

You can play forever on Earth, gather millions and millions of points. And then someone reaches Mars, makes to level 4 with a 10th of your score and wins it. It is highest level first, highest score second.
