Where can I find more Famicom information?

What are some good online resources for information about the Famicom, Famicom Disk System, and the games that were released for it? Are there any comprehensive lists out there regarding cartridge colors, types, scans, variants, original contents, release dates, etc? I'm not sure how accurate the information is on Wikipedia, but the only other websites I've found are http://www.famicomdisksystem.com/ and https://famicomworld.com/

One of my favorite sites is famicoms.net - it's in Japanese, though. Use google translate.

There's a lot of fun variants to watch out for - the no-LED Irem games, the Namco re-releases, the picture versions of pulse carts, etc. There's actually quite a few of them.

This site has a pretty impressive Famicom collage. It's not complete (missing Dezaemon, among others), but still cool to see some pics of the cartridges.

Hardcore Gaming 101 released an outstanding book about the Famicom Disk System. Not much on variants, but it does have at least a blurb write-up on literally every game released for the console, its relative rarity in the wild, and level of Japanese proficiency required to play it. I highly recommend that book about the disk system stuff. Some of the pictures in there I even scanned!

Thanks for the share -- will need to pick this up. Just rec'd their Kickstarter book on obscure Japanese games, great quality.
