mbd39 | 2,039
I got it years ago from Amazon and just noticed what looks like a screw or something on the front on the label? Really strange.
a3quit4s | 4,148
Looks like where the middle screw would be in the back? Did someone use a way to large screw by accident that came through it?

I wonder if this is a factory error.
Hybrid | 429
Someone drilled a screw into the cart it's not even the same type of screws used on the back

Oh well, it plays fine.
nesmaster14 | 446
That's where the injection mold is poured for the cart. I can't make out the image, but it's usually a little round bump artifact from the molding process, they hide it under the front/back labels. DK | 275
That front circle indent is on all NES carts - you can usually see a little indentation if you hold a cart at an angle. If you look at carts missing labels on Ebay there are many and you can see it. I'm guessing that MTPO is just extra pushed in. Did you open the cart up to see if the hole goes through? 3
Code Monkey | 2,027
Every licensed NES cartridge has that indent. Press hard enough on the label and it'll look like that.
Tulpa | 3,576
Yeah, probably some kid got bored and pushed it in. Some of the things that happened to cartridges over the years really makes me wonder what went through our adolescent heads back then. I remember a SMB 3 cart with "FUCK YOU, BRIAN" written across the label in sharpie.
Tabonga | 2,387
If you pass a magnet over it and it attracts you know there is a screw in there - unless it is plastic or non-ferrous.
