No he was pushed out because he got too obsessed with sending one year wonders into the NBA (half of whom are probably only marginally qualified at best and another year or two of seasoning would've only helped).  I know we can count on our Holiness (hee hee) to put KENTUCKY FIRST.

The reaction seems to be only luke warm at best, but I think it is a good hire.  He's had BYU moving upwards, and while he might not be as established as the previous UK coaches, he's got room to grow.  As long as the fans can be patient with him, it seems like a very nice hire.
