Estil | 1,265
Yes indeed, we have a pope! https://ukathletics.com/news/2024/04/12/mark-pope-named-head-coach-of-kentucky-mens-basketball/ Now this is someone we can count on to put KENTUCKY FIRST. I hope the first thing he does it take down all those damn "look at all these guys who went to the NBA!" and replace those displays with true UK legends. For example his 1996 teammate and Final Four MVP Tony Delk.

I know we can count on our Holiness (hee hee) to put KENTUCKY FIRST.

He's had BYU moving upwards, and while he might not be as established as the previous UK coaches, he's got room to grow. As long as the fans can be patient with him, it seems like a very nice hire. I think they will be. He's exactly the KENTUCKY FIRST "name on front, not on back" coach we so desperately need. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Pope http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/statistics/Players/Pope_Mark.html Edited April 12 by Estil

At least you only wrote that, if you took it further to anything UK related or using that decades plus long incorrect use of blue chip when talking about stuff the whole board would die of alcohol poisoning in short order.
