The Sixth Sense was absolutely fantastic!
Unbreakable... really good!
Signs....um ok.. I guess?
The Village... had a decent build up, but I predicted the twist from a mile away and thought: he probably needs to stop relying on being "the twist guy"
The Visit... pretty good... except for cringey rapping kid. Also: yuck.
Split.. very good... watch the post credits scene!
Glass... the actually movie kinda lame, but cool that he tried to do his version of "Avengers"
Knock at the Cabin... I really liked some of it.

Yeah, that was one where he could really twist the suspense up, just by having a kid stand on a stump at night.

I remember when that movie was released and some dude on a forum I used to frequent went on a huge multi paragraph  rant, basically saying "I WANTED TO SEE MONSTERS BLOWN AWAY BY MUSKETS, NOT AN IMA TRICKZ U MOVIE!!! FU M. NIGHT RAMALAMADINGDONGYOURNAMEISWEIRDANDFOREIGN!!!! 🤬"

Monsters and Muskets sounds like an epic title

Sixth Sense is one of those movies that, the first time through it was one of my favorite first viewings of all time. Like if I judged the movie on solely my first impression it might be in my top 3 movies of all time. But it's not a very rewatchable movie, for obvious reasons. I guess most of Shamalayn's movies aren't very rewatchable, not in the traditional sense, because the big draw of his movies is the smoke and mirrors, but by the end of your first watch, the smoke has dissipated and it's not as special as it was the first time. Regardless, I still think he's a good director, I've seen at least half a dozen of his movies and haven't disliked any.

So Sixth Sense is my favorite, but I really wanted to pick the Village, it's a very very close second place. I honestly loved it, and to be honest, find it more satisfying to rewatch than Sixth Sense. I lot of people hated it, I think because of the twist. But I actually liked the twist. Very unexpected.

I chose Split as my least favorite but I should have chosen Signs, because although I didn't dislike it, I was the most underwhelmed by it. Split was good, but it didn't wow me like Sixth Sense and Village.
