I remember the last time I worked something out in that way was with AT&T when they were also Cingular. I think I got a 10% discount or something. Regardless, this bass-ackwards experience is so true. I can't count how many time I hoped ISPs especially when I was in Charlotte because you could get an exceptional deal with "someone else" for being a new customer every 1-2 years. Tulpa | 3,501 Posted August 26, 2022 Share Posted August 26, 2022 (edited) Yeah, there's so much churn nowadays that the companies settled into just throwing out incentives solely to sign up new customers, many of whom were probably customers who left a few years ago and are now returning to get a deal. They're barely aware of customers who stay with them because their quarterlies are based on new signups. I can't stand being on that treadmill. It's exhausting.
