    I am pretty sure I am the only one here who saw the original broadcast. For many reasons it had more impact than something similar would today.     One of my mother's greatest complaints about getting old (she lived to be 93) was that everyone she had known for any length of time had passed on. She had us (kids) of course but that was not quite the same. Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts!

    My oldest brother Dave passed away yesterday. Today was his birthday and he would have been 83. Getting old has its drawbacks - but like so many things in life there is not much to be done about it.

    The two I preordered likely won't be released here - Evoland 1/2 10th Anniversary Edition out of Europe and Goblin Slayer from Japan - I would have ordered them anyway but the free shipping was a very big plus. Since I put them on separate orders I won't have to wait for both to be available.

    PlayAsia is giving free air shipping for orders over $50. It doesn't say for how long the offer is good for though. I did two pre-orders and it was good for both of them.

    @Brickman Did you ever see this mini series? It is based on a Nevil Schute romance novel but is very well done - pretty engaging storyline - the part set in WWII is really good.
