  1. Cheers! Yes it got widely bootlegged for some reason and in both shape carts i.e. Euro and Japanese, I suppose to cater for both types of market in Asia.
  2. One of my fav Mega Drive games of all time, love its whimsical nature and the co-op game play, it just so happens to have 3 variants in Asian (not Japan or Korea) regions, one with English text on the rear of the artwork and the “Asian Version” sticker, one with multi language artwork, similar to the Euro release and one with a Japanese front label cart and English rear sticker. Oh the joy of Asian collecting.
  3. A few more PAL variants, an alternative artwork version of Talespin and the German version of Thunderforce III (essentially the US version with an additional German language manual)
  4. Added a few extra games to the Wii U collection, still searching for the final 3 PAL special editions I need but these fed my habit in the meantime
  5. Got the Lion King sent over from a friend in California and sourced the Asian Gunstar Heroes from Hong Kong.
  6. A few more things from the Asian Mega Drive collection, what do you collect when you are struggling to find Asian releases? Well buy a factory case of Asian games! This is a box of 6 Mega Games 1, fun fact: the manuals didn’t fit inside the cases so were packed separate, they also have the distributer stickers from Game Galaxy in Thailand.
  7. Thanks, actually you managed to find the listing I bought! My thinking is the same as yours! The mystery continues.
  8. Hi, Think that was mine that sold I moved it on for $500. Hope that helps.
  9. Hi All, So I recently picked up a lot of Japanese Mega Drive games and included this cardboard box for Shining Force, it has the same art as the clamshell, is slightly wider and has an inner tray that looks like it was used to hold something (tray is bigger than a cart size, but does hold it, more of a cassette tape or deck of cards size). My question is has anyone seen one before? Does anyone know the origin of this? It is a display/promo box? Gift box that held something? More pics: https://imgur.com/a/pvGewQW
  10. Great question! I think I'm going to continue hunting a few of the PAL Asian Mega Drive games that have eluded me, the variants with PAL artwork and manual but Japanese style carts. Also still searching for 3 PAL Wii U games (limited editions) that I need to complete the set. Other than that just stuff I come across
  11. Finally after 5 years of searching I picked up The Adventures of Batman and Robin and completed the Mega Drive Asian “Teal” sub set!!!! Boy am I happy today.......
