    I've never been able to beat Super Mario Bros. 2, no matter the version. Reading the title of the thread, I thought it would've been heresy to say that but it seems I'm not alone with the Mario "block"

    I have a wired SN30 Pro that I use for NES/SNES games on the switch, and while the d-pad on mine is definitely a bit stiff, I've never unintentionally had a direction register. Guess I'm lucky. I really love this thing.

    @drxandy Man, I'm not the biggest fan of repaints, but that thing looks really sweet. I especially love the two-tone controller. If only I had a spare junker N64 laying around, hah!

    True. I'm in SC so I get a little bit of heat throughout the year as well, though I've seen him add a pot or two of boiling water to the mix on days he couldn't get it up to temperature.

    Thank Christ this thread's still around, I got me some grievances, mainly with the post office. I swear I haven't had a single box arrive in good shape the past few months. Earlier this year, boxes would look completely untouched, now it looks like they played football with the dang things; all the corners bent in, that black gunk/scuffs across every surface...it's just a miracle all the sellers I've ordered from packed everything with ungodly amounts of bubble wrap, or else I'd have a lot of busted up goods on my hands.

    It's a heck of a lot less messy since you can just pour it out. I've yet to try it since the current most successful retrobriting technique requires a good bit of heat (winter is upon us now, grr), but the results are fantastic. No streaking or anything since submerging it gives the piece 100% coverage. The 8-Bit Guy documented his experiments with the method not that long ago on YouTube.

    Man, I missed a lot in my absence, lol. Kinda fell off the face of the world back in January, didn't know NA was gonna go belly up while I was gone! I was unsure whether or not to update my username to my more common one or keep the oldie from NA, but bah, I'm kinda sentimental for the old name now. Anyways, feels great to be back! Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from here on out.
