I don't see much to it honestly i think it's pretty straight forward with either waves on the water or a splashing reaction. It does look good though.

It's a shame people have lost their lives over this shit they never had a chance of getting any of their objectives through. Yes that's how it would be. No type of open transaction could be made and once the item is bought it can't be shown to almost anyone either. Ideally the robber would already have a connection to lay the loot off to but the thing is they stormed in without even being masked so the trail has already been left.

There is one WATA highly graded going on Ebay right now if that's your thing. Ofcourse those tend to be 2x-5x more expensive (and sealed stuff is expensive to begin with) but it is out there that's all i'm saying.

I think Talespin is quite fun it never gets mentioned among shmup's but it's not bad at all. Has an interesting function in regards to controlls where you move in diagonals so if you'll go in an octagonal pattern if you want to make a 360' turn and you can shoot in all directions aswell.

It's definately more structured towards the SNES than Arcade version wich in turn means easier aswell. In the Arcade you have to start accounting for the enemy attack pattern pretty much immediately while in this new one you have more time to maneuver, things are slower. You're also not committed to a jump and can move around mid-air.

I think the original seems unrefined and outdated to modern developers they don't want that type of gameplay anymore.
