Both very true, even the lowest end nes games are in the $30-50 cib ranges and 100% correct with these sellers seeing other auctions of crazy overpriced copies of that same game and think their torn box with crusty cart is the same as a still wrapped mint cib game. Just a sad set of affairs for nes among most Nintendo these days. In other words help me find my dang remaining nes inserts already people lol

Sounds like a plan! So that’s two so far, I would imagine we will get a few others without issue then the raffle would be a fun spin to get us to at least the 400 mark if we all agree upon that.

So I am curious if everyone would want to chip in on cheaper or damaged sealed games then maybe we can do a raffle for the people who contributed and the winner gets to keep the game? I have a candidate: https://www.ebay.com/itm/133628066118 Looks to have water damage of sorts but I could be wrong. Seller had it at $325 but it didn’t sell and been sitting on there for a while. I’m sure we could chip it down a bit more also. Maybe if we do a minimum donate amount and get a bunch of us we can add a few to the list? I would definitely like to do it with some people if so, I won’t be a huge contributor currently but could definitely throw $20-40 towards this.

Nah I don’t think so, in all the years I’ve been on there I never thought you could. I’ve come across a few different times recently where guys have blatantly said in messages they cornered the market on certain things or auctions have ended on the same random dollar amount by buyers who are paying well above, 3x-4x what the going rate for cibs and such. That’s not just condition pushing that price there, I myself really don’t mess with beat up nes cibs, just never have and the pricing curve over the last year or more is ridiculous. I think things like this jaws fall into that same category, jaws is one of the more common, uncommon five screws out there and it’s not worth that price tag, especially not a loose cart.

Doubtful, one sold at auction a few months ago for $250. I honestly don’t trust anything on eBay anymore, there’s so many people fluffing their own auctions or buying up specific games to control a games prices. Just sad to me to be honest.
