TRU reminds me, Ocarina of time was the first game I had the ability to preorder and I did so through TRU. I reserved the collector edition and got that little package of figures as a bonus on release. I found the package of figures unopened a few years ago and can’t seem to find them now so I definitely want to find them again.

Yeah for me I was only 12 so I had to save up birthday and holiday money to buy one. Those kiosks were the best. I pretty much bought all those games you mentioned as a kid once I had the systems lol. Only one I still need to get for my collection is a shadows of the empire, it was the only one I would rent and never bought.

I was not lucky enough to score that console until it got discounted back then but this still might be my most favorite console and fondest memories from the good old days. Before I was able to buy it my dad rented the console once or twice from blockbuster with the big briefcase and I picked sm64 and Star Wars as my rentals. Big reason why I felt compelled to get my hands on one of those blockbuster n64 console cases and stashed a console and all the fixin’s in there to remember some of those great memories.

Beat me to it, I would not remove that wrap. If someone wants to pay to remove the wrap that’s on them. I don’t follow these much these days but I have heard of matte stickers having gloss stickers over them so I could definitely see gloss stickers like this possibly having been pulled back and sealed with a wrap like the earlier transition from matte to gloss. It’s a shame but I can definitely see you getting tons of flak and haters because they’re just protecting their own little crew that are at the top of the grading pyramid. Grading CIB’s is one of the worst things to happen to game collecting but that’s my own two cents.
