Interesting. I don't like the tiny knife. It's always too finicky and frail to make the cuts lol. I use the big knife. I haven't ever really needed to do tiny details. I use the $10 "premium" carving kit at Target. I tend to lose it or lend them out and they never get back to me.

It's all good. I think 28 Days and Weeks are some of the better movies out there. I haven't such much of the older zombie movies, but I do know I prefer the faster aggressive zombie types better. It's like you genuinely can't make any mistakes. Slow walking horde, eh, just climb on a roof or power walk lol I have to dig out some freebie goodies we got from a trip we won to see the cast and crew of the Walking Dead. It's nothing "spectacular" but it was definitely an awesome trip!

Do you use a Dremel tool? Very nice details!

Mega Tank's 2022 Pumpkin Contest Submission Stranger Things' The Mind Flayer I generally don't like to revisit themes I have done, but I might have to make the exception with Stranger Things.

Sometimes you just have to turn your brain off while watching a movie amd just enjoy. I read your laundry list of issues and quite honestly you can do the same for any movie. We were really big into The Walking Dead and from season 1 the survivors used zombie blood on raincoats to travel through zombies and it worked. They never again revisted this strategy until Season 9(?)... so am I to believe as a viewer these survivors are absolutely stupid and criticize them every episode for not using it? I haven't seen 28 Weeks later in quite some time, but I don't think it's that terrible. The opening scene is probably one of my favorites in zombie movies being so chaotic and it had good music. The start of 28 Days later wasn't any better lol.

Good As New Some time long ago... when I used to actually try to repair stuff and was genuinely interested in bringing stuff back to life... I ended up picking up this Jungle Green N64 controller at 8 Bit Hall of Fame (RIP, recently flooded out due to Hurricane Ian). I purchased the controller and it was loose, but I decided that for what the store was asking, I'd get it as it was I believe completing my set of 4. I bought some after market thumbstick replacement and repaired it with ease. The stick works well and it hasn't seen many hours as you can tell by the clean stick. Souvenir I don't want to bore anyone with the details, so I'll give you the short version. Out of state, drove around at least 100 miles scoping out stores for the retro store thread and I found a store that was willing to sell their sign. I saw this sign at night and that's the picture of it hanging from the store window. I had to have it. Easy enough negotiation, and this was at the time and continues to be my favorite item. I was lucky enough to buy this sign and this store was bought out months later. This store was purchased by another store chain that had absolutely terrible customer service. They didn't get this sign though! Unfortunately, this piece has not been displayed for a little bit, but that will soon change! With that... I wanted to beat Castlevania, but the week just flew by.
