    I've sort of poked at this a few times, but what I would want is ability to hook up a USB barcode scanner, scan a location tag and quickly take inventory based on barcode (flashing the name on screen until next scan). That and a choose a game randomiser kinda thing. My prototype made use of the Amazon api which worked well enough except their data is a mess as far as system and what not...
