  1. My kids love it. They're already asking me for the new one coming out. I'm not the pokemon generation myself so I've never actually played any of the games.
  2. I can remember back when arcades used to be rented out for birthday parties, those were the best. I really liked Golden Axe. But I can also remember playing all the usual suspects with complete strangers at the boardwalk (Xmen, Simpson's, Turtles etc). Back when kids used to have to play games in person, with other kids . Movie theaters, pizzerias, bowling alleys they all had games. The good old days...
  3. Yeah I've had that on many occasions. I try to get momentum and move my body but I can't. Then I just give up and fall back to sleep. It's a pretty messed up feeling. When I was a kid I woke up during surgery, it was similar.
  4. When your entire business is based on your ability to be objective and impartial, my opinion is that no employee/advisor should be partaking in the service. The optics are terrible. The fact that the people at the top of the company haven't recused themselves from getting games graded tells me they care more about making a quick buck then being taken seriously by those in the hobby that aren't just speculators or investors.
  5. Boy, I actually went over there and read a little bit of the back and forth. You have people actually defending Mark Haspel! Haven't seen that here yet.
  6. Did you teach vanilla ice the dance moves? He's a Florida man too.
  7. What all these individuals, including bronty, have in common is that they would not recuse themselves from the service out of either arrogance and or greed. Certainly took a few years but what happens in the dark will surely come to light.
  8. I wouldn't want people blowing my shit up either, but then again I wouldn't of had anything graded by a company I was once associated with. However loose that association might or might not have been.
  9. Yeah I totally agree. But he's also full of shit because anyone that's been paying attention knows his full info was on watas website 3 years ago.
  10. He had his picture, full name and profile on watas website at one time. Along with several others who have been posting in this thread.
  11. I mean he's publicly connected because his name was included as a member of the wata advisory board at one time. Then he sold his copy of smb for a $100k to Jim Halperin.
  12. Don't ever wake a sleep walker!
  13. At the time he was "world's leading expert & collector of sealed games..."
  14. Yes these articles are hard to read. I feel like I'm reading an old time news bulletin!
  15. Oops sorry, I was referring to the old archives thread @Alderposted.
  16. I started scanning it for about 20 seconds but then stopped once I got to the part where jeff from go collect said he didn't buy the cc to make a profit. I just had lunch and didn't wish to vomit all over my desk.
  17. Well here's the thing though. At one point he was part, or perceived to be part of wata (his picture, profile and title at wata were originally posted on their site). Lay with dogs, you get fleas.
