The end of Xevious is tough. I think I was like an inch away from completing it and I died. I screamed so loud my family thought something happened . I give it a 10/10 on my anger scale for cursing to myself and wanting to snap the brittle 30 year old plastic controller in my hands.

I think when you get to the point in this game with the 2 sided rupees it becomes alot more like a puzzle game as well.

Just posted a score update. That's it for me on this one. That was a perfect on every bonus level and I killed as many of those urchins as I could. On one level I killed over 20 of them and burned through as many lives as I could.

Just bought a copy of Xevious and Star Soldier. Thought I had both those games but I can't find em. I've been playing Xevious on a powerpak, but I prefer completing the games on actual carts when I can.

I'm on Xevious right now. I'm limited on playing time, but committed to completing this one. The other star games I'm not fully committed to just yet. But we'll see.

Would've liked to have seen what the 3rd loop looked like. But I'm done with this game.

Almost made it through the 2nd loop with the space suit guy. 

STARSHIP HECTOR 

Made it to the final boss in Starship Hector should have it beat soon hopefully. I've probably played this game for close to 20 hours overall so far. It took me FOREVER to clear the end of that 2nd level consistently.

Was away last week, just started back up on Starship Hector. Now that's a tough game. I would rank it as the toughest game I've played so far this year IMO.

Starship Hector is crazy. I haven't even beaten the 2nd level yet. There's no way to brute force through this game. You gotta have a strategy for every little section I bet.

Lol, thanks. I'll look for star soldier. I'll hold off on Star Voyager for now.

Pulled a few "star games" out. Gonna work on them for a while.

Lol, I leave my nes on for days at a time. I just turn the TV off. The NES is indestructible! I think for ROBOCOP 2 I left it on for a week

Yeah it is really good game. I loved playing it as a kid. I never watched the movie though.

I just started playing alpha mission. Made it to level 6 so far. Hopefully I can complete it within the next week or so.

Did the 5 inning games like @nerdynebraskan suggested. Was nice and quick in playoff mode. Pretty good game overall. I picked Oakland for Magwhire and Janseco . I gave up a 2 out error that lead to a grandslam in that final game. Otherwise would've had a shutout. Faux Eckersley got rocked.
