  1. 35 games down. They say that means I'm halfway. But half of zero is still zero. Half of infinity is still infinity.
  2. Day 7 - 20 games down. The number of games beaten goes up slowly. But every game feels the same. I'm starting to lose track of days now. I have to remind myself to mark when the sun comes out, so I can keep track of the time. I've drawn crude pictures of my family, so I remember what they look like. I almost forgot about little Timmy. I often want to give up, but the only way I make it out of here is to beat the game. I'll keep going.
  3. 10 games down on Bases Loaded IV. This is soooooo boring.
  4. Metroid is there twice, but are you trying to beat it without a walkthrough/map? I finally got around to beating it a couple years ago, and it's really not very difficult or lengthy, if you know where stuff is. Is miracle Miracle Piano? Just play Jingle Bells and I say you beat it.
  5. OK, I started Bases Loaded 4. Was anybody else working on this? If not, I'll keep going through this slog.
  6. OK, I fired this up again to refresh my memory. For batting, just push A when the ball is over the base (or close to it). You can push the control pad to reach for the ball, if you want (if the pitcher is tired, you can see it's going inside/outside and still get a good hit on it). A lot of times, you're just going to miss anyhow. In my opinion, it doesn't matter, because you don't want to be spending lots of time playing. Ideally, you'll get a home run at some point and win the game 1-0 or 2-0 or something. The great thing is, if you play defense ideally, they can almost never score (only way they ever score on me is with a lucky home run on a tired pitcher). If they make it to base, you can draw them off base by just throwing the ball around. You can even do this when the next batter has come up to the plate (press B and a direction). When they run to steal the next base, wait until the proper moment (your guy with the ball can still move) and then cut them off and get them out. It's pretty easy once you get used to it. You can even maximize the cheapness by walking guys intentionally. All that said, it is a slog after awhile.
  7. Well you made it farther than I ever have. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard, but for some reason it is.
  8. I don't remember it dragging that much, but I've only played the game once, and that was when I beat it several years ago. (I played New Horizons a lot more). But if you think this drags late game, then get ready for Pirates. Because it definitely does, if you want to get over 100%. (I think you only need 95 though to get the highest rank, but still)
  9. The conditions say "Super Spike V'Ball Win a World Tournament" ... not World Cup... maybe the terminology there is wrong?... I mean I guess scary can answer but I don't see what you mean...
  10. Where do you see World Cup listed with Super Spike? They come together on a multi-cart, but that's crossed off on the list, and both are listed individually. World Cup was already beat, and Super Spike V'Ball is listed at 6 (+1) points.
  11. I was a Count, which I think is 2 under Duke (the top).
  12. Wow! You are one of the elite in game playing circles... a "Nintendo Lemming Master"!
  13. I can confirm that once you figure out defense, they almost never score. It's been a really long time since I played though, and all these Baseball games blend together so I would need to sit down and relearn it. Don't really have the time now though
  14. Pirates is pretty easy too, and fun for the most part. Gets pretty repetitive towards the end, if you want to get to 100%+ Same thing though, just a time sink.
  15. Awesome! Work has me swamped right now, unfortunately hopefully I can get back to gaming again pretty soon and take another crack at it.
  16. Ah, I looked back and the missions I have a hard time with are Octopus and Fort Scrag (I don't remember which of these I can't beat). But if you're able to do them, I might look to you for advice
  17. That's one that frustrates the hell out of me, because there's one level in the middle I can't make it past. I forget which one. Other people don't seem to have too much of a problem with it, though, so I must be doing something dumb. Other than that, it's not too bad. Good luck!
  18. Well if it makes you feel better, even I beat Championship Pool. It isn't easy, but not as hard as a lot of other games. Mutant Virus is a bitch, though.
  19. Wow! Close! Are all the remaining ones super hard? Or just random? I'm only at about 35%.
  20. So what's the percentage of the NES library you've beat? It must be a lot now?
  21. Terrible game, but especially terrible since the final password is messed up and doesn't work, so you have to use the 2nd to last password and do a bunch of stuff over, if you fail to beat the final boss. And like Ikari Warriors 2, it's an annoying fight where it's easy to die really quick.
  22. Do I qualify for "Beat Every NES Game 2020 Rank 1" ? I was 1st in 2013... For imports, I didn't really see an answer to whether Sachen or Pirates count. Imports: 90+ nes including Sachen 44 Pirates 3 3DO 7 Wataru/Supervision So 100+ Imports if the Sachen and/or Pirates count. If not, 50+ Imports... I also think you should add a Pirates icon, because I liked having the skull & crossbones on my old profile
  23. I want to play BL4, but I don't have time right now. In a few weeks I will start it, if nobody else has.
  24. I forgot that was a thing that exists. Damn, NES has a lot of baseball games.
