  1. Super Team Games done! On World Class Track Meet, I can't get past the hurdles against Cheetah (the last guy). The Power Pad is too sensitive and just jumps arbitrarily.
  2. I don't remember where I got before, but it must have been that hard middle part. Good to know I have a chance of beating it one day, if the difficulty goes down.
  3. I don't have the time to devote to it now. Just something I want to try and do some time. Go for it, if you want.
  4. Hey if you aren't grinding for exp/gold, then you aren't retro gaming
  5. I love it! I used to have it as one of my top 10 NES games. But that's probably an exaggeration. It's got some flaws for sure. I might be blinded by nostalgia.
  6. What game? Oh, you mean Goal! <--- the ! means you have to shout it I beat this back in 2014(? I think) as USA. I don't remember a whole lot about it, except feeling like it should be worth more points, because it's not easy. I think it was worth less back then.
  7. Unlike Blaster Master, which I'm pretty confident I can beat once I sit down and do it, I'm not that sure about Fester's Quest. I've made it about halfway through before. Yeah, too many flaky parts and tough bosses. I suppose I'll probably beat it, but it's going to take some time and dedication.
  8. I have it on my personal list to beat this year (along with Fester's Quest and Ultima III). My friend beat it back in 1990 or so, and I never got around to doing it. I haven't tried it yet this year, because I know it will take me some time.
  9. Street Cop is done! That was exhausting. I'm old and out of shape. I won't be playing again until at least tomorrow night or Sunday, so if somebody wants to knock out any remaining Power Pad games, go for it!
  10. I will give them a shot. I won't do Dance Aerobics because I completed it for this before. So that's an easy one for somebody (it's not even physically hard to do).
  11. Athletic World! Man I'm tired. Yes, I did use my hands on parts. That tunnel is hard. Still quite a workout.
  12. It's a good baseball game. Unlike RBI and Bases Loaded, I can't find a pattern that is a "guaranteed win". Seems like there's lots of random chance involved, based on the stats, which is fine. I actually lost a few games. There's also some weird quirks, like sometimes the other team's runner hangs out by 2nd base but not tagging up, so you can get an easy out. And annoying how it throws to a fielder who is right next to you sometimes when you're trying to throw to a base. But it's pretty decent. Tomorrow I will probably start Athletic World, I've got my Power Pad out and ready to go!
  13. I agree, it's all about memorization and repetition. It's been awhile since I played it (I'm starting to forget stuff from over 5 years ago, I guess) but yeah just know where the obstacles are and the best way to deal with each one. Avoiding them completely, if you can, is usually the best option. Save your papers to be used as weapons/defense.
  14. I'm in the middle of Bad News Baseball. Should be done soon.
  15. I'm not, but have you played/beaten it before? It's mostly fun and not very hard but there are a few levels that are really frustrating.
  16. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters is done!
  17. Since we're being transparent, I played it about 5 years ago and got to the final boss and haven't beaten them. I still have my save game and at some point plan on loading it up, and grinding if I need to, to finally beat the game. It won't count for this thread, but when they start a "beat every game in the 21st century" I'll be ready.
  18. Don't you have a pretty limited number of shots with #6?
  19. Man, I'm trying Zanac and I can't get past level 4. Just before the last boss, the amount of turrets and enemies is insane.
  20. Alright! The only Koei left on the list that I haven't beat is Gemfire. I don't own it, though
  21. True, if you play Heroes of the Lance without already knowing the way, or using a walkthrough, it's pretty rough. I don't find Battleship too painful to go through, maybe I'm just a Battleship fanatic. Or maybe I've been desensitized by other games like 10,000 innings of baseball.
