  1. Hello I'm looking to buy a few NES and SNES inserts.

I hope someone can help me with some of this stuff. Might be willing to trade if I have something you're looking for. I have lots of different paperwork for various systems mainly NES and SNES.

    I'm looking for:

    Mega Man 5 NES manual

    Poster: CAP-NES-US-5

Nintendo advert: Rev-1 Nintendo Fun Club News insert

    Poster: VIR-NES-US

    Poster: KON-NES-US-5

    Poster: JAL-NES-US-2

    Tecmo address label

    Foil Nintendo Brand Dust Sleeve

    Poster: TAI-5Z-US

    Registration card: KON-SNS-US

    Registration card: KON-SNS-AV-US

    Registration card: SUN-SNS-US x2

    Registration card: KOE-SNS-IN-US

    Registration card: KON-SNS-US-1

    Registration card: KON-SNS-US

    Registration card: C-SNS-80-USA

    Registration card: ENI-SNS-SO-US

    Registration card: KON-NES-US-5

    Registration card: CAP-NES-US-1

    Mega Man Refund Card: CAP-NES-US-3

Pink SNES "Important/Importante" warning sheets x2

    U.N. Squadron manual

    Thanks.

On a different note, I actually came in here expecting to see Austin's SMB3 listed, but watching his video made me sad.  But still, it's definitely a good day for people who care about this info 🙂

Honestly, I think we already know what is in a sealed Super Mario Bros. 3. Last year, a seller on Ebay named Rarebucky sold a Super Mario Bros 3 that he says was sealed but was opened by customs officials from the bottom of the box before it was finally delivered to him:

    That poor SNK game.

For the record, I have no known inserts for all SNK games. Even a game like Crystalis only comes with the cartridge, manual, nintendo power insert, dust sleeve, plastic bag, and styrofoam insert.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in SNK as far as NES contents are concerned. On one end you have Capcom, who often put a ton of inserts in their games, then on the other side of the spectrum we have SNK...

My sealed Joust came in and it did not have the manual correction sheet, so both Jousts will be listed in the next update, which has already been submitted to gamefaqs and is just awaiting their approval.  I'll update here once it's posted...

Maybe it doesn't have the correction sheet because the manual was updated...

Any update on this list? @TrifectaI opened Monster Party so you can remove that from my list.

Removed Monster Party from your list.

No one yet has come forward to share any pics for this project.

I'm not asking anyone to open their sealed games. If you have an opened game that has all the pieces to it based on Wiz's list, please forward me a pic of all the contents so I can add to the OP.

  7. There's an artist that made a physical strategy guide for the original Legend of Zelda on the NES using his own artwork.

Judging by some of the pictures I saw on twitter, it looks pretty cool. The physical guide sells for $25, or you could buy a digital version for $1. There's also digital versions of the original Ninja Gaiden and Contra games he did guides for.

They are being sold here: https://gumroad.com/handdrawngameguides

The artist that made them has a twitter account here: https://twitter.com/heyphilsummers

I thought some NES enthusiasts might be interested in this.

I highly recommend this list (and the Gamespot one) be reorganized by publisher.

Patterns quickly emerge when you organize the list that way. It allows you to realize that publishers like Ocean have “Game Specific Inserts” but use them as “Publisher Generic Inserts” or how publishers like Bandai only have one insert in their first 5 games, and a Dick Tracy poster.

Some format other than a forum thread would be best suited for that.
