I recently picked up a CIB Festers Quest from what I would assume to be a reliable source. Everything looks good and matches here however there isn't a black sleeve in my copy.
The listing here calls for a black sleeve however in the picture I don't see one shown.
Hello. I opened a factory sealed copy of Fester’s Quest. I can confirm it does have a smooth black dust sleeve.
The reason it isn’t shown in the picture is because it is assumed all officially released NES games came with a dust sleeve.

It would of been nice to propose and discuss a standardized picture spread for NES CIB contents before the original post started. Now there's dozens and dozens of entries and will take a lot of time to re-take pictures and edit the original post.
I think a better idea would be to create some sort of database similar to what Nintendoage had for SNES games and have a more uniform display of pictures in that format.

Does anyone have any tips for creating a gameplan in saving for a down payment on a house?

I've updated the list with Q*bert. I opened a factory sealed copy of it for the picture.

Nintendo Power had an article on the North America's design for the SNES in its June 1991 issue: https://archive.org/details/NintendoPowerVolume25/page/n43/mode/2up
It's on pages 44-47.

The cart has a round seal and it is a 3 screw, although the screws are the kind you need a flat head screwdriver to loosen. Yes, the box , manual and cart all have the same code, NES-ZA-USA.

My only question would be why is there no poster? All of FCI's later releases had posters and registration cards, but maybe they didn't include these extras in their first couple of games in October of 1987 (Lunar Pool and Zanac)?
I guess my issue is why does a non-Rev-A box with a round seal of quality have a 3-screw cart inside?!? That's very suspicious to me. @Trifecta can you open the cart and check the date codes on the chips and the date code on the manual and box as well? If the box has no date code but the manual and/or chips have a later run date, then I'm thinking that this was a reseal...
A picture of the board is below. The manual and the box don't have date codes.

I didn’t personally but was told when I bought it about 5 years ago that I was the second owner. So I guess I’m confident though not 100% since I didn’t personally break the seal.
Okay, I’ll trust your word and will add it to the list of pictures.
Thank you very much.

This is right. It was released Oct 1987 and is a third party release. Only Nintendo would have had those Nintendo Fun Club inserts at the time. I have a sheet that has some "educated" guess and this is what I had.
Thanks for the confirmation. I’ll add it to the list of pictures when I get a better copy.

Thank you Silent Hill. Did you open this one up? I don't see it in Wiz's list. How did you confirm the contents?

Ninja Gaiden and Contra came as one book.

There is no physical copy of the guide printed by the creator.
The creator of Hand Drawn Game Guides made the guide available in digital format for free here: https://sites.google.com/view/handdrawngameguides/free-guides/metroid-presented-by-hand-drawn-game-guides
If you did see any physical pictures of the Metroid guide, it must have been people printing their own copy.

I purchased this really beat up H seam sealed Zanac. The seal seemed legit to me, but when I opened it it only came with cart, sleeve, and manual. I would have thought it would at least come with a Nintendo subscription advert of some kind. Does anyone know anything about this game and its contents?

I’m sure once PS5s increase in circulation, sellers in the United States will sell them.
I would hold off on one $55 box protector if you can.

Thanks, I got these sold somewhere else, but I'm gonna put up another sale here.
How much did they sell for?

I took a look at Gameye and it doesn’t seem to have a website version (supposedly coming soon).
I would absolutely need a collection management site where I can use on my computer and my phone.

I tried this app. I like the interface but I didn’t see a way to share or export lists? Also, in my experience, their “cartridge scan” identification was wildly (and hilariously) inaccurate.
Besides the inaccuracy of game values, how do you like VGCollect so far?

So I just signed up for VGcollect. The first game I inputted into my collection was Ninja Five-O, and it gave me an estimated value of $207, which is about half of what it is going for. What's weird is it says "via pricecharting.com", but that I don't see how they would have pulled that number from PC.
The estimated values in VGCollect are wildly inaccurate. I think it’s a feature they haven’t updated in quite awhile. It’s based off of old data.
Honestly I wish they would scrap that feature. Not even Pricecharting or GVN are that accurate, really.

I use https://www.vgcollect.com/
It has a huge database, you can edit entries, add entries, export the lists you create, manage different lists and more.
Here's a sample of what a collection would look like: https://www.vgcollect.com/scott
