I don't think it does outside of keeping them from getting it. I didn't bother picking the whip up either.

You can back up the last one left at the end of Mission 3 to the edge of the platform and punch away like at the 30 minute section of the video, but that one seems stubborn about getting into position.

I can usually get the enemies to cooperate without much trouble. The Linda at the end of Mission 3 seems to be the most stubborn about getting into position.

Even if I can get a higher score by tonight, I'm you would beat me eventually. I bet you could break 400k with more time.

Hopefully I can get a better score in before tonight, but if not, I'm pretty satisfied with what I've got.

345k is still really good. I imagine you could probably break 400k eventually.

I remember in that 521k video where the guy burned his extra lives in that section. I can usually make it past the blocks without getting hit, but I don't think I'd want to risk looping that area.

I can see how it's possible, but I doubt I could break 400k. I'd be happy with 350k since that's about where I should have been on my last run.

I managed to do a little better, but I think I'm done. I doubt that I'm going to feel like playing anymore tonight.

I can probably get a few more runs in before the Reds game starts. That will probably be it for me. @rdrunner 's 470k TG record should be safe.

That's a great score. You could probably get a world record run in if you were able to keep that pace up for the entire game.

If it makes you feel any better I got killed earlier by the falling spikes in the pink cave. I can't even remember the last time that happened.

I haven't bet anything recently. Maybe I should get back into it while they're winning. I imagine that breaking 400k would take a borderline perfect run and I really don't have the patience for that.

I guess it depends if that was the only way to play it or not. I probably wouldn't pay over $100 if I was able to play it on an Everdrive or something. If a physical cart was the only way to play it, I'd probably go 2-3 times that. -
