Depending how you look at it PM studios just relased their own limited print exclusive to their site not long ago called Hover.

The company that did Retro City Rampage, the name escapes me at the moment

Dispatch Games has had some limited prints via their website, though I advise not ordering from them

VGNYsoft, they did the repackage of Gigantic Army (took Euro cart made new art and sold in NA). They also supposedly are doing another game this time claiming to be properly ESRB rated though I haven't seen evidence of the game on ESRB database, so I personally am suspicious of them

Thanks. I'm probably going to pass on adding those right now. Vblank did Retro City Rampage, and that is all they have done. They did one clone and gave it a slightly more tropical setting, but it's basically the same game. The other companies I'm going to wait and see what happens.

  2. Hey all, based on the idea above, I'm updating the first post to change it into a database of companies that produce limited edition physical games.

Hopefully this will help collector's like us 🙂

I have a few more titles to fill in the next 30 or so minutes, after that, please let me know what I've missed!

I am all for limited print companies but in this day in age we all have to be careful. I stop purchasing pre-orders from new companies that pop up until they are shipping. This can end up being one big ponzi scam with some companies that don't have the cash reserves to run a business. I won't name any but there are a few of them that keep adding games and have yet to deliver. The best run model currently is Super Rare Games, most of the items ship within a few days of purchase.

Is it wrong for you to name them? I mean, you might be doing the rest of us a favor!

Also, maybe we should keep tabs on the limited game companies out now?

So anyone remember that Warned Collectors "limited games" site? Did anyone get their money back that bought from them> They closed for good secretly and never updated their site or Facebook just ghosted, so was wondering if they actually gave money back or did you have to do a dispute yourself? Just so glad I procrastinated and did not buy their games.

Had not heard of this until you mentioned it. Was this just a big scam?

    Damn just saw this topic.

Recently became a huge Doctor Who fan as well since they're airing it on TV.

Watched all of the episodes with Capaldi, Tennant, Eccleston, Smith and Whittaker and from most to least favorite, here's my list:

    1. Peter Capaldi
    2. David Tennant
    3. Matt Smith
    4. Christopher Eccleston
    5. Jodie Whittaker

Have yet to watch more episodes and other doctors to judge about them.
I hope they're bringing out more seasons of Doctor Who!

I encourage you to watch Tom Baker. Many regard him as the best. Those that don't regard him as the best, still say he's one of the best. His companion, Sarah Jane Smith is often regarded as the best companion the Doctor ever had... although I like some of his other companions better 🙂

I wish the BBC would just release ALL the episodes of all the doctors, but they don't. I have no idea how they think (or lack thereof) but for Tom Baker they have released Seasons 1 and 7... so his first and last. What about 2-6? Well, apparently they're going to release Season 3 next. I honestly think this is a testament to the fact that the BBC has no clue.

  6. Any fans of the original series? I'm a huge Tom Baker fan. Thought David Tennant was great too. Haven't watched the new stuff. Thought about it, but good heavens! apparently it's flaming garbage...

    17% audience approval...

Well, I'll go watch Genesis of the Darleks from Baker's 1st season, it's one of the best episodes, in my opinion...

Streets of Rage 4 and Panzer Dragoon? In this economy?!

    I’ll take both.

Streets of Rage, Panzer Dragoon, and Shadowgate... wow, when it rains it really pours eh!

THIS, is why we need to support LRG! If it wasn't for them these would all be digital only purchases...

  8. Open pre-order! Nice...

Panzer Dragoon II Zwei is also getting a remake as well, so with luck we'll see this on LRG sometime in the future. The real question is whether we'll ever see a Saga remake? Less likely, but you never know. If Sega is smart, they will eventually go down that route, but don't hold your breath...

Steelbook looks pretty cool, but nearly double the price just so I can own a SoR4 nesting doll?

    Yeah, pretty much 🙂

It is a nice steelbook case, which you're right begs the question why not just release the steelbook instead of adding the Genesis case? Can't say I know the answer...

Gloves is right, CE’s are all over the place. But even more annoying are these “classic editions.” They seems very kitschy to me.

Well, you can always just go with the normal edition. I think a lot of people do like some extra swag with their games, so this is quite nice in my opinion, and since it's an open order there's no worry about scalpers.
