Well it does bother me ,because I am Conservative in Ideology ,and Judeo-Christian in Doctrine ..And the whole LGBT movement is against my Christian values ,but that’s just me ..

That's too bad you feel that way. I really am sorry when just having a LGBT character in a game bothers someone so much.

I just picked up “Time Spinners”by “Limited Run Games “,and loving it so far ..I must confess though I am little taken back by the claims of other gamers that there are references to LGBT in the game ,I have not yet encountered that ..But as a Conservative I would of passed on this game if I had 100% confirmation of that ..

Well, a lot of games have LGBT characters in them today, and I personally don't see a problem at all with it. In the USA about 4.5% of the population is LGBT, or roughly 1 in 20 people. This shouldn't bother anyone.

These eBay sellers are betting on people being too stupid to check the Limited Run website. I also think for this listing that shows up as “2 sold” already - those sales must be fake.

I'm sure you're right. I've often wondered, what percentage of sales are fake? I've never found any statistics on those, but I suspect it would be surprisingly high.

  4. Will you look at this... I found three sellers doing this

Don't get me wrong, I understand collecting, and appreciating in value. However, I find this behavior disreputable to say the least. I mean, if people knew they could support LRG directly and get the game for 35% cheaper, why wouldn't they??

On a lighter note, this literally came in for me today. I'm stoked! It even has a manual! 😄 LRG FTW.

As far as I know, ALL LRG games come with manual (note, the very first one, Breach & Clear, on the Vita did not).

I really appreciate that these games come with manuals, and I'm personally willing to pay a bit more to have an actual manual, something that is lacking in today's AAA games.

It's the best CRPG ever as far as I'm concerned. Something that's finally better than all the heralded old Bioware and Black Isle games.

Of course to be fair, it was inspired by the old greats like Baldur's Gate, Ultima, Might and Magic...

and now Larian is working on Baldur's Gate III -- which I do believe will be one of the greatest RPG experiences of all time!

I completely agree about the tetris effect thing. No idea what they are thinking.

What is the deal with night trap though? I hadn't heard it's currently available... but I didn't really follow that game. I did buy a copy but then sold when I realized I wasn't interested.

Not sure what is up with Tetris Effect. When I first saw it I did not know it was already available. So, not sure what the deal is with that. Most of their releases are a one-time physical release and not available otherwise. As for Night Trap, it was only available through LRG.

Homeless dude in LA threw a literal bucket full of diarrhea on some chick like a week ago.

From the Article: "This is pretty terrifying, especially since homeless attacks can happen pretty much everywhere. I guess here’s your daily reminder to always look twice around the street, and run whenever you see someone coming at you with a bucket."

I guess that last bit about running is supposed to be witty humor? It's really quite sad that anyone should be forced to "look twice around the street". Anyway, attacks can of course happen anywhere, but in some places you are absolutely more likely to be attacked. Last time I was in Cali a few months ago, I was constantly told by people to "watch out" for homeless. Unemployment, poverty, and lack of affordable housing are huge problems in the good ol' USA. Mental illness is also a serious issue that is not treated seriously.

There was a time I rather wanted to move to Cali. With the crime, traffic, idiot politicians, and yes, the fact that they have no idea how to care for the burgeoning homeless population, it's not high on my to-move list.

You hear that folks, without LRG, we would've NEVER had the N64 version of Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, or physical copies of Turok, Jak 1, 2, X Combat Racing, Nuclear Throne, Soldner X2,  YS origin, etc et al,. They're providing a SERVICE to us, by re-releasing bootlegs and incredibly small amounts of games to scalpers.

First off, games such as the N64 Racer or Turok etc are authorized, so by definition they are not bootlegs.

Yes, some of their releases such as the aforementioned were previously released, but so what? There's obviously a demand for that since they sell out quickly. Secondly, the vast majority of their games have had no physical releases, and it's questionable whether many small independent games would otherwise ever get a physical release -- so yes, I'm super grateful and this is indeed a service they are providing.

I agree that scalping is an issue, but LRG now offers open orders on non-collector's editions so there's no reason anyone shouldn't get a copy of the vast majority of the games they release (some unique games like their NES releases are always going to be limited).

So anyway, to each their own, but I honestly find myself more interested in most LRG games than AAA games.
