Saga sells in the 500 to 800 range depending on the day, so it's getting there!

They are based on the books rather than the games. Not a strict adaptation, but still pretty good!

I am enjoying to so far! I read all the books and played the games so I think it is fantastic. Of course like any literary adaptation there are some changes, but nothing too crazy!

Yeah been loving it as well. My wife almost gave up on the first episode until the end, like @RH has said cause of Baby Yoda. Last episode was good, lots of call backs to the original movies which was neat, but I didn't feel like it advanced the story too much. Unless of course that dude that saved the mercenary at the end was Boba Fett, which is possible, but probably a reach.

I got it as well and am signed up till 2022. I hadn't bought a game in months until last week when I got Jedi Fallen Order, so I love it.

As someone who holds a Cyber Security bachelor's and masters, I will tell you that a Cyber Security degree will not teach you "how to break into things". That is a very small part of it, and when it does cover that sort of topic it is very basic. Depending on the school you attend as well, you could find yourself learning about Security Policy rather than the technical aspect of it. Which, depending on what you where you want your career to go is an important decision to make. Do you want to be more of a manager that has the knowledge in the field and the concepts, but doesn't have the technical expertise to implement your policies? Then go get a Cyber degree that is more focused on Policy and procedures. If you want to be more hands-on and have the technical know how to secure your network, and understand the security protocols you have in place and how to implement and troubleshoot them, then go for a technical Cyber degree. For this aspect, I would look into getting some SANS  (www.sans.org) classes done. They are very technical, and while they don't offer undergraduate degrees, they do offer undergraduate certificates (but you will need prior college credits, so this may not be an option for you at the moment), which will give you a taste of the technical aspect of the field. This can include anything from securing networks, hunting for cyber threats, and yes, breaking into stuff. If you do decide to go this route, know that there is much more to it than what you wrote above. If you have questions, I can try to answer anything you may have.

Got it. I'm not familiar with how other hobbies do pedigrees or collections so that makes sense. Still not a fan though.

So I'll say it since it hasn't been pointed out yet, but this scenario only works if Jeff is actuslly a "director" or "manager" (or someone with a financial stake in WATA). He purchases Dain's collection, then proceeds to get everything graded as part of the "Carolina Collection". Does no one see a potential problem with this? He makes the purchase then everything gets immediately graded. Could this be part of the reason why WATA is so backed up? 

Additionally I also agree that pedigrees for video games are dumb. Going by the definition of a pedigree for comics, they only consist of Golden Age or Silver Age comics in High Grade, include long runs with all the keys, and were all owned by the original owner who bought them off the rack. Is there a definition of a pedigree for games or am I missing something? Cause all I see when I see "Carolina Collection" is a dude bought stuff second hand over the years and put it in his house. They were in good shape, and owned by the guy who founded a website. He was not the original owner. (Unless I am mistaken on that)

Different as in the types of food they have in stock. For instance, last year one store had these orange creamsicle popsicles in stock, and none of the other ones in the area even got them in.

My wife is obsessed with Aldi's to the point that she has joined a Facebook group talking about all the weird shit you can buy there. We have 3 or 4 of them in close proximity to the house and they all have different stuff. I don't get it, but they do have good cheap snack food so it's good in my book.

My collecting initially started out like many others I assume, and that was to get the games I had as a kid that I had gotten rid of. I kept a large chunk of the games I had when I was younger, but there were moments when I thought trading them in was better than keeping them.

Anyway, once that was mostly accomplished, I branched out a little and decided to get the games that I wanted as a kid, but could never get for whatever reason. After that list was created, I started buying games that were recommended from other members or ones I read about that seemed interesting. This has led me to have a large collection of games, but not as large as some members here, and I feel that they are all winners, no bad games in the lot.... For the most part. 

Once I got to playing some of those games I wanted as a kid I realized they weren't necessarily any good, but I kept them either way. 

I have every year since 2013, which is when I got back into NES gaming, so that's pretty exciting!

So I am not making excuses for those guys, but from reading the posts about how they were bringing additional staff on board from the GoCollect staff to help transition the site, make it better, etc., it seemed to me that this task of moderating was something that was just thrown on them as employees in addition to whatever their other tasks were. If it's clear to me that management has other priorities, I probably wouldn't have focused my efforts on making the site better either if I had other tasks that were more important. At least that's how I see it. They still definitely trashed the place, which is unfortunate, but maybe it will be improved upon in the coming weeks, months, years if it isn't forgotten about and abandoned by them completely.

For me it would probably be the TurboGrafx-16. It looked pretty cool in comic book ads back in the day, but I never knew anyone who owned it or saw one in person. Now, I just have other priorities.

Dreamcast was the first system I bought with my own money, so I enjoyed collecting games for that one, as well as the Saturn. I got the Saturn after it had been discontinued so I found a few games discounted and was able to pick them up cheap, and both it and the Dreamcast have some super weird games that you won't find anywhere else.

So reading that NA thread, is the market being manipulated by a few people who either work for the company or Heritage and are just selling these games between each other to make it look like they are in high demand?? Or am I reading that wrong?
