    This thread blew up quickly, holy cow. One thing I keep seeing mentioned, is that the NA database has been lost. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the days after NA's sale was announced, weren't there some folks that were working to backup the NA database so that all that info wouldn't be lost?

    Just wanted to give everyone an update here. I'm running the NES and SNES leagues. Terrance is running the Yahoo Cash League that has been going on for years. I'm going through the list of folks that played last year and am seeing who is interested in continuing. I've already got one confirmed as not returning next year, so if you see this and played last year, please let me know your intent. I want to have the leagues finalized by this weekend so I can start collecting payments. Either reply here or shoot me a message!

    So, there are at least two people that valued this game at that much, probably because it was just there and accessible.

    Heritage is allowed to bid on items on their website as well, so they likely bid up to that guy's max.
