Would you believe I've never seen it?
Ryan Gosling is a Canadian national treasure. Why do you hate Canada?

I've seen In Flames five times or so. They're very good live, although I haven't seen this new lineup. And I imagine the setlist is gonna be heavy on the newer albums, where I'm sure YMMV.

Every time we have music tracks I have zero idea. Like, I think I know #5, but I'd never be able to place it in a vacuum.

9.5/10
I called it the second best game I played last year.
I was really underwhelmed by Bastion back in the day, and didn't even bother with Transistor based on that. But the overwhelming adoration put Hades square on the front of my radar.
I absolutely loved my time with it. Kinda reminds me of an overhead Dead Cells. And the runs are so short that's it's easy to squeeze one in whenever you have a free moment. And whereas Dead Cells has certain builds that I naturally seemed to gravitate towards, here I feel you're rewarded for trying to master them all, which keeps the runs fresh.
And, as has been discussed ad nauseum across the internet, the blow from dying is greatly softened by the fact that it gives you a chance to continue your conversations with the cast of the underworld. Not that you'll be dying much: this is one of the easier popular roguelikes imo.

FYI, looks like Runaway and Planet of the Vampires have both been uploaded to YouTube. I'm watching both this weekend.

Finally watched it. I don't think I had seen it, funnily enough. But you can very clearly see it's inspiration in the world of the Tarantinos (and Roths and Zombies) of the world.
I don't think I need to add it to the collection, but I was entertained.

There an Asian region release that bundles both too, if memory serves

As a dunkey fan, I've had my eye on Animal Well for awhile, and I'm happy to see it do well.
...but that doesn't mean I don't want followups - in whatever form they take - to games like Tears of the Kingdom and Elden Ring. Big AAA has it's place, if done right.
And I really, really hope the first big Mario game on Switch 2 is a big expensive Mario Odyssey kinda thing, and not yet another 2D "New/Wonder" kinda deal.

I once sleepwalked off into the Utah wilds as a child. Woke up out in the middle of the dark, cold woods.
Luckily I only made it a couple hundred feet and was able to spot the headlights and flashlights for everyone looking for me.
Also, I didn't walk straight off a ledge or something.
I also once used a metal paperclip to prop up my SNES power supply. My dad was thrilled to discover that one.
I also once almost got hit by a bus doing jumps on my bike. Someone called my dad about it. Again, very thrilled with me.
And finally, on two occasions I've lost traction on an icy interstate. Lots of people die that way up here. I credit video games with fine tuning the skills in reacting to that.

Ace Attorney 3 - still on case 2, which means this is gonna take forever. My biggest complaint with the series is still alive and present: trying to move the investigation forward by presenting everything and everyone to everybody. Still, these games are too charming to hold that against them.
Trails in the Sky SC - 30 hours in and I just started chapter 4, and there's 8 or 9 chapters, which means I'll be done by August. I'm really trying to lean into the "easier retries" thing so I can brute force my way through boss battles and cut that time down.
Horizon Zero Dawn - It's fun, even if some of the systems kinda aggravate me. And I shouldn't have played it on the heels of Rise of the Tomb Raider, as they share some similarities. Blowing turrets off a giant robot T-Rex so that you can use them against it is pretty cool. I assume I'll have this wrapped up in the next two weeks.
Think I'll finish off Walking Dead next, and then maybe start up Spider-Man or Dark Souls III.

I had to check the tracking on that one since I sent it to you. Hmm, seems like the USPS is taking there sweet little time on that one. Sorry.
No worries, LRG takes 12 months, and my backlog is scheduled out until at least October at this rate. Pinocchioborne will have to wait either way

Funny thing is, I'm not really "into indies" at all. Of course it pretty much goes into what you were already saying, but I'm just into video games, and there are a lot more indie video games nowadays than there were in the past - and a lot of them are really good, just like a lot of them are most likely awful trash. I just try to play what looks fun.
My sentiments exactly. A game's background and pedigree are irrelevant to me, I just wanna play the best of the best. This year I still have to get to the likes of God of War Ragnarok and Pentiment. I have equally high hopes for the both of them.
A game I have on the way? Lies of P. Is that a AAA? Is it a AA? An Indie? Don't know, and it doesn't matter.
