FOr the love of god.. I've tried every link type on both Imgur and Imageshack and can't get pics to show up in my posts. Is this possible on this site? Or do you just have to use attachments?

Hey guys, 2 items for your consideration. Here is box, manual, and inserts for Ninja Five-O. If you have the cartridge, make it complete! Bot is in pretty good shape. Some small creases here and there. Took a bunch of pics. The manual and inserts are super super nice. I'm really not sure how to price this. There have been some CIBs sold on ebay lately, and that;s what I have to go on. Asking $800 shipped in the CONUS. Sweet! I have a nice raw copy. Have a bunch of stuff to grade but I'll probably wait and see what happens with the new CGC video games thang.

As a card collector myself, I do not like PSA. Lots of shadiness, grading counterfeits as genuine, etc. I am a much bigger fan of CSG and SGC. I don't see myself ever submitting to WATA again (only did once). VGA or the new CCG company for me.

Let's boycott WATA and VGA until they release pop reports. BOOM. Seriously though. I would love to see how it affects values. I think it will go either way, depending on the game, the # in the pop report, and whatever the market decides is a HIGH pop vs LOW pop. Would this theoretical pop report include variants as well? Who knows.

I really don't get the argument that this high end sealed collecting isn't game collecting. I think that's such a generalization, and at the end of the day it comes down to each individual and their motives. Are some of the people dishing out this money not big game collectors and only doing it for investment? Sure, but I believe only a very small portion have zero interest in games! As a video game collector, in theory, I want the best possible copy of any given game. That just happens to be sealed, high grade games, same as I would chase a high grade '52 Mickey Mantle or Action 1 in sports cards and comics, respectively. A lot of this "THAT ISN'T GAME COLLECTING" comes off as sour grapes to me, personally.

I'm not very familiar with how this auction works. On the app a bunch of these say "Internet bidding closed". What the heck does that mean? Is there an in-person or after-the-fact aspect to this??

Some crazy prices! One in particular I was happy to see is that sealed Goonies II. I have a copy and really haven't seen many for sale over the years.

I don't know if I'm convinced that the pop report would bring prices down, in general. Let's say, for example, there are 1000 SMB 3s graded. Is that a high or low guess? I have no idea. But more importantly, would that be viewed as many or not that many? Where is the threshold? I think it's tough to predict where the threshold would be, and it would really depend on each game.

This is pretty dumb.

I've always been equally nostalgic for handhelds. In some ways I like it more. Having your own little screen feels more personal. I guess in a way it was safe little personal world for me as a kid.

Haha nice. The First FFL is very nostalgic to me, along with Final Fantasy Adventure.
