  1. @twiztor there are some good deals. B2G1 is decent if there are specific games you are looking for especially for some lower tier titles. It's better for those with the Pro card and the extra 10% off and pretty great for those that still have Elite Pro with the 20% off.  I ordered 5 games I've been eyeing up that would have been about $70 that went down to $37.

  2. For anyone eyeing anything up at Gamestop their Black Friday sales are live online now. B2G1 preowned Switch games, B1G1 last gen games, and more. I picked some stuff up just passing the info along.

Edit: PSA remember to use CAG16 as the promo code if ordering pre-owned online to get a further discount.

Edit2: Child of Light + Valiant HEarts (Switch) Best Buy exclusive on sale for $25

Edit3: square enix store exclusive Lost Shpere for switch on sale for $12.50, shipping steep at $6 but still a good sale for an uncommon game.

This is so true.  I don't mind it at all if it's a game I really want, but I think it's also why my list has titles that are now in that range, if not valued at more.  I'm at that home stretch, as I call it, and I feel like I just can't quit.  That said, many of the titles on my list are likely going to cost me $40+.  Shaq Fu is probably going to end up being the worst offender.  I hope I'm wrong, but my gut tells me it'll be the last one I get because it will be the last one standing, and at that point, some eBay seller will probably get lucky and get my $80-100 because it's in the right condition and I'm "done".

Yea I feel like there's a sense of accomplishment or like "ugh thank god that one is out of the way" for games that are say $100+. Then theres the satisfaction of getting a whole swath of cheap games in a lot when each game is $15 or less. But anything from $20-$100 has got the "man do I really have to pay that for this".

  4. I know for sure that my last N64 game was Mario Party 2 and for my 32X was Pitfall Mayan Adventure. I cant remember what my last one was for Sega Master System. I think Panic Restaurant was my final game for the NES "set". Thats in quotes because I was always missing Stadium Events but never expected to get it. I've since sold alot of my NES games when I went back to college.

I did the same thing as you with my N64 set, worked towards the middle. So it wasnt ever  hard to find but for some reason its real easy for me to buy a high end game or a bunch of cheap commons but for some reason dropping $30 or $40 on one game was hard for me.

Pitfall was a pain to find, 32X was cheap back then but that came just took forever to show up.

We Changed our DIet about 5-6 years ago and It made a huge difference in overall feeling.

Soda is one of my bad habits though, I love it.  I try to stick to 1 every 3-4 days.

If your interested in trying something. Get some clear American seltzer at Wal-mart. Im partial to Black Cherry myself. This brand seems to have the strongest flavor so you don't get much of that Carbon taste from not flavored seltzer. It helped me stop with soda

I only ever drink water. When I want some flavor in my beverage, I'll spice it up by drinking a nice flavored seltzer.

Seltzer has been a real savior. I use to drink soda like no body's business. But started getting what Im guessing were caffeine withdrawal headaches if I wasn't drinking it all the time. Seltzer was crucial in weening myself off soda.

  7. I had been focused on the Switch for the past two years but have honestly been getting burned out on it, mainly after I somehow missed Ms. Splosion Man on LRG, just totally slipped my mind and when I remembered it was too late. Don't really feel like going to ebay for it. So that broke the addiction so to speak. Now I think I may re-focus on some pre-NES stuff or maybe pickup the last Songbird Titles for the Jaguar I need.

Went to Hersey in the spring and it cost way more than that.

Website says some of the rides are open but I’m not seeing the mega coasters which are like the main attraction.

So yeah I’d think of it more like a walking tour to see the lights and maybe hop on some of the smaller traditional rides.

    Have you been to Knobles?

Yea Knobles is about 20mins away from my girlfriends house. Went there over the summer and during the Fall craft fest thing. Its great not having an admission.

For Hershey Park I don't mind as much that big rides are not open I don't do big roller coasters anyway and neither does she. But I'm wondering if there is enough small stuff open to take up a good  3hrs or so, outside of the zoo and drive through Christmas Light Spectacle.

Also, make sure you don't use "phone voice".

Notice other people around you when they talk on the phone- they usually soften their voices for some odd reason (and ladies go for an even higher pitch).   No idea why.

I noticed this and purposefully use a deeper monotone. It helped to deal with customers on the phone at work. Wasn't a fan of taking the phone at that job and I think that tone got people to get to the point quicker.

  10. Shipping to US only

For posterity sake I had 180 positive transactions on NA, and 1 so far on VGS.

A little heads up to those interested in my items. I dont have my own paypal, I use my girlfriends so it may take an extra fee days for me to get payment and mail stuff out as we dont live with each other.  If you would like a speedier process I can take Venmo as well.

Temporarily moved in with the inlaws last year. They had two cats, we had three. Pee. Pee everywhere. In my slippers. On my daughter's bed. On rugs. Everywhere. Went to lie down for the night one time and landed right in a damp patch of cat piss. Almost lost my mind. #Neveragain.

This would be the only concern I would have. When they get territorial and start spraying everything.

Honestly, this is a good take. Since 2008, they've released a mainline series game every year but two (2011 and 2015). From 1998 - 2008, they only released seven games. Since 2008, they've released HeartGold/SoulSilver, OR/AS, and Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. From 1998 - 2008, the only remake they released was Fire Red/Leaf Green. X and Y were rushed, as were Sun & Moon.

Taking a year off from mainline releases could certainly help the remake fatigue and give the devs some time to come up with more great ideas. I'm excited for Sword and Shield, but I think not getting a game in 2020 may be a good thing.

This seems pretty reasonable. But unfortunately the way they crank out the cards and shows and such around the game they may not slow down until they really tank the whole thing
