  1. Has anyone shipped in a speedrun and turbo together and have only received the speedrun tiered games, but not the turbo ones yet? Long story short because the games in these tiers were bundled up together and shipped, WATA placed them under a single order # and when I view the completed orders, that same order # says it's shipped. Of course not everything is shipped because my turbos are still with them and when I asked if they can split those orders up and put them in a separate order # so it's not to be confused with the "shipped" status, they said they couldn't do it and that when there is new movement, they will automatically be placed in the open orders tab. It's concerning to me because I have not seen a single change since my speedruns were shipped months ago. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and wanted if WATA did in fact separate the pending ones from the shipped ones and maybe created a separate work order for them or have the same order # and just placed under the open orders tab.
  2. My speedrun order from placed on 7/30 is now at post-grading today. So roughly around 2 months to get there. Who knows how much longer until it gets shipped.
  3. It's also from the original owner Larson Pedigree, which carries a premium too. Comics also have been around for decades longer than video games and have had accumulated price increases throughout the years naturally. Video games just shot up 300%+ practically overnight. You don't think that's a problem?
  4. Not surprising at all that the Goldin copy sold for well below the Heritage copy. It was already predicted by the majority on here I believe. The real winner of the Heritage copy was the underbidder who most likely won the Goldin copy for half the price . We'll see what happens in the next Heritage copy where there's quite a few up in different grades.. Likely see a drop in prices some more.
  5. Yep a beautiful looking SM 64 you got there. Best of luck with everything! Would be interesting to see how it does on Heritage.
  6. Funny how this dentist is amassing quite a sealed video game collection worth millions and then there is also another dentist who has amassed one of the finest if not the best comic book collection ever assembled. What's up with these dentists!?
  7. CCG also known as Certified Collector's Group is the main entity collectibles company that has affiliates under its chain of collectibles grading umbrella: coins (NGC), paper money (PMG), comics (CGC), comic restoration/conservation service (CCS), sports card (CSG), stamps (ASG), and finally (CAG), which preserves authenticity and provenance of collectibles. When the video game grading service is up and running, I'm sure it will have it's own department name under CCG.
  8. Anyone else watching or bidding on this? I have my popcorn ready to see what the hammer price will be when it ends tonight!!! I did notice in the bidding history that a few bidders were bidding in the millions, but current bid is at 350k so far. I wonder if those were shill bidding, simple mistake or what? . Anyways here's the link https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/127320702
  9. Nothing new at all with Goldin. There have been a bunch of complaints during their last summer sports card auction where their website crashed for whatever reason and left consignors burned with their consignments with lower realized prices of the day the auction was ending. So to address that, Goldin extended the auction for another day or so to get more bids in for their consignors. Sure enough, the cards that were selling for a discount were no longer a discount due to more bidding activity. What sucks is that those bidders who won those lot(s) on the end day did not "officially" win them due to the extended session. Was it due to maybe shill bidding to raise the prices? Also everyone's max bids were exposed. Been a lot of complaints like this from what I've been reading for several months now and Goldin has been letting everyone know yeah we will fix the problem and improve the website, but they haven't done a thing.
  10. Yeah I was just throwing a % out there as just an example. The exact % would be impossible to know. But yeah the majority would disagree.
  11. The game sold.. Move on, it is what it is. 50% will agree that the price is warranted, the other half will disagree. Can't please everyone. if someone wants to spend $2 mil on a video game, so be it. It's their money... Whether it'll be a great investment in the future, who knows. Time will tell.
  12. Still waiting on my Turbo submission from 2/12/21... I just submitted a fresh batch for a speed run. Let's see how long that'll take.
  13. Doubt the consignor was charged 10% seller's premium (which can be negotiated down to 0% depending on the value of your collectibles consigned) . I think it's more just the 20% BP deducted. I believe that one cannot be negotiated. But who knows for something as big as the N64 mario and Zelda he consigned might be a gut shot that can be lowered too
  14. That guy on the couch must be the one and only Stan Lee
  15. Nah bitcoin is priced at about 50% off from ATH's. But still currently has a huge gain from a year ago and around a 31,500% gain from 2017
  16. Someone said money laundering wasn't possible for this sale to happen? It's definitely possible because it happened quite recently where a guy dropped like $9 million to a Heritage Auction by buying comics. Here's the article below https://www.theverge.com/2015/7/22/8870089/texas-comic-book-heist-anthony-chiofalo-tadano
  17. Did you also know that just a couple months before, the 86 Fleer PSA 10 jordan card sold for around $750k, I believe two of them. Now yes it's selling for in the 200k range. Quite a price cut, but what does that tell you? Same thing happened with the Pokemon cards how they skyrocketed to the moon and are now back to ground level a few short months after.
  18. I wish it was mine . I was just reposting it from Comicconnect.
