  1. Hello guys, As I am collecting PS3 games right now, I am looking to find the rarest games while they still can be obtained at fair prices. However. one game I found to be very rare is Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II. So rare that I never saw an actual NTSC-U/C copy of the game. I searched on multiple websites, in multiple stores and flea markets, only to find what would be the NTSC-U cover art, but no actual picture of the game in its case with manuals. So here I am, asking you guys, if you know if this game was actually released for the American market or if it only saw light in Japan. I would be amazed to see actual pictures of it ! Thanks.
  2. Bump. Of course, I won't buy so many games right now, but I'll choose from your list.
  3. Why is this thread not active anymore ? I would like to beat some of these Genny gems !
  4. Honestly, I would have played the N64 version normally for this thread, but I was playing Rare Replay lately and thought of you guys when I completed Banjo-Tooie. Sure, there are some changes to the XBLA version, like references to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts and other more recent Rare games. However, I would say it is 99.999% faithful to the original. BTW, I'm looking forward helping you guys a lot this year !
  5. Hey guys, RetroMichel’s here to help you ! I beat Banjo-Tooie. It was the XBLA version, but that should count, right ? I wish I’d forget everything about that game... Just so I can discover it again for the first time and be amazed by its wonderful and magical universe.
  6. Thanks guys ! Another question: Besides the box, do both versions include the same manual, inserts and cartridge ?
  7. Hello, I am currently completing my N64 CIB collection and I was wondering if there is a huge difference between the boxes’ rarity (English and Spanish ones) of International Superstar Soccer 2000. Is one variant more sought after, is one more pricy ? See pictures. Thanks !
  8. Very useful information here guys, big thanks ! Will update if I get it to work.
  9. Hello guys, just watch this short video as it speaks for itself. Thank you very much !
  10. I know that you can obtain Fire Emblem Gaiden as a NES reproduction cartridge to be able to play it with an American console, however, does anybody know if the first Fire Emblem has been unofficially released for the NES (reproduction) ? I'd be interested to play it on an original NES console.
  11. Conker’s Bad Fur Day’s ending for sure.
  12. It did work a little bit. It definitely looks better now. Also, guys, I was wondering what cable you’re using for your Xbox console. I currently have the Pound HDMI cable which MetalJesusRocks’ video convinced me to buy. Are there better options out there that do not cost too much ?
  13. Just found SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos for 5 bucks, which was a pretty good deal. However, the cover has serious water damage and I want to ask you guys if you have any tips to restore it.
  14. Currently playing Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure. Feels weird playing this after having completed every Tony Hawk game.
  15. Correct me if I am wrong, but you cannot play Japanese games on an American Xbox console, right ? Is there anything such as a Boot Disc ?
  16. Dear VideoGameSage members, Here's a thread contributed to our community's love for the original Xbox console by Microsoft. Here, you can post your collection, your favorite games (and memories) and also your completions. This place is meant for talking about everything Xbox related: collectibility, advices for completing a game, hidden gems, your recent finds, and more. Here's a very helpful and detailed thread by our very own member, DefaultGen, about collecting Xbox games: I always thought the Xbox was like the spiritual successor to the Sega Dreamcast, a console that I love indefinitely. I remember my older brother buying this beast in the 2000's and being amazed by its wonderful graphics, its great exclusives and its ability to download our own music so that we can play the games with our playlist playing in the background. Also, it had so many great exclusives by Microsoft, such as Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, Brute Force, Fable, Halo, and many more. It also had amazing support from third-party developpers, like Sega with their awesome "arcady" games (which is why I sometimes jokingly name the Xbox as the Dreamcast 2), Rare (which Microsoft bought in 2002). Tecmo, etc. Thanks, Michel
