Legend of Hero Tonma is completed. Honestly, I liked that one very much. The difficulty increases gradually and while the game is short, it is hard enough to keep you playing for a good amount of time. Something I liked a lot about the game is when you get power-ups and you become nearly invincible. However, if you get killed, you need to start again at the last checkpoint with none of them. The hardest moments in the game for me were the "Statue" level and the final boss. However, I've found one trick to beat the later. You need to crouch and memorize his movements. Then, you get up to shoot the crystal ball when you get free time (when the demon keeps his hands away from you). If I had played that game being younger, I would have been frightened by that face. Ugh. I recommend this game, but is it worth its price ? Definitely not. Even my favorite game ever is not worthy of a huge amount like this in my book. Needless to say, I was more stressed opening its cardboard box to play it than actually beating the game's most difficult moments !

Hey guys, I was thinking about this earlier today. Some game systems have huge libraries, but not many games that are very expensive. Then, you have systems like NEC's TurboGrafx-16 with a library that consists of only 94 NTSC-U games. However, it does include Magical Chase, which is a game that costs a lot, even more than the Dreamcast's most expensive games reunited. With that in mind, I would say that the NEO-GEO AES full set is the most expensive and most difficult to complete. Nearly all games are very expensive and they are very difficult to come by in NTSC-U format. For the easiest one, I would say that the Virtual Boy is a good candidate, with only two games worth much money (Jack Bros. and Waterworld), out of only 14 games in total. According to you, what are the most difficult and the easiest sets to complete ?

Hey there ! I am currently buying games for my Sega Saturn console and I've got in contact with a guy that has Magic Knight Rayearth. As some of you probably know, this game by Working Designs came with three variants available. In fact, when buying the game (which was the last one released for Sega's console in America), you could get one of the three disc variants. One features Hitaru Shidou: The other one features Fuu Hououji: Then, the last one presents Umi Ryuuzaki: The guy I talk to has the one with Hitaru Shidou (the girl with red hair). The game is in fantastic condition, however, it lacks the stickers in the manual. Not as if they have been removed, but more like they have never been there: the manual does not present any page for the stickers. You have page 16 and then, it jumps to the page containing the registration card. My question is: Did some copies of Magic Knight Rayearth for Sega Saturn come without stickers in the manual ? If you do have the game, I would really appreciate if you could look at your copy and see if it includes the stickers in the manual, especially if you have the version with Hitaru Shidou on the disc. Thank you for your time.

Saturn Bomberman is completed. This game is such a must-have for any Sega Saturn owner. Even if the North American version can be very expensive, you can get the Japanese version for not too much and still be able to play it: Bomberman games can still be played without any major language barrier. Saturn Bomberman is widely recognized as one of the best games for the system and often, as the best Bomberman game ever. I do think it is a real candidate for such names, but I did also love the Bomberman games on the N64, which are very solid titles too. The soundtrack goes very well with the different themes presented in each level. My favorite world has to be the Wild West world, since it is in that world that you start to obtain the most interesting upgrades for your character and the music is simply the best there. At least, according to me. Also, the game has a great learning curve and becomes gradually harder, especially with the boss fights. The last few levels and bosses in Mr. Meanie's Future World can be a real challenge, so it was satisfying to complete the game today without too much trouble. If you have a Sega Saturn and a lot of money to spend, buy this game. If you have a Sega Saturn and not a lot of money right now to spend, buy this game's Japanese version.

To start things off, I've completed the infamous Sonic R. This game is well-known for its poor controls and its soundtrack. I will be completely honest and admit that I actually had a lot of fun playing this colorful game. The soundtrack is stellar, composed by Richard Jacques with Teresa Jane Davis singing. TJ Davis has a wonderful voice and the songs are all "bops": they are very catchy and memorable. There are five race tracks in the game, which is the most disappointing feature about it. There are many hidden pathways, so they are quite complex maps, but still, five is nothing compared to games like Mario Kart 64, Crash Team Racing and Diddy Kong Racing on the rival consoles at the time. As for the controls, I did get used to it and it did not seem to bother too much my experience with the game. Only at the beginning, it was annoying to realize that I was always bumping into walls, but you just need to master the jumps and find the ideal pathways so that you can fly through the stages without any problem. I used Knuckles, who is a character that's considered one of the best in the game (if you do not consider some of the unlockable characters). Talking about the unlockable characters, four of them can be obtained by getting all the coins on the first four race tracks and then finish at least in third place. As for the fifth obtainable character, Super Sonic, you need to collect Chaos Emeralds in the four initial races and also finish first. This was harder, but then, Super Sonic is highly regarded as the best character in the game. People told me so many bad things about this game. As a French speaker living in Québec, I used to watch videos by a YouTuber named "Joueur du Grenier" (translates to "The Attic Gamer"), which is pretty much a French-speaking AVGN without all the curse words. He bashed Sonic R in a video about the first 3D games, then many people did so without playing the game. Pretty much the same situation that occurs when AVGN reviews a game, talks bad things about it, and then everybody dislikes it without having played it. As for my personal experience, I did have fun with it and it is such a joyful game, with bright colors and motivational music. I will definitely play it again for fun. It's not the best game on the system (far from it), but it's not as bad as people say.
