I don't very much care about this. If both of you make top 4(5), both of you are making to grand finals and that is that. Anyone that has a problem with that can take their matters to me.

Current standings posted. For scores that don't include the soccer picture, a -10 score was factored in order to form a full scoreboard. For scores that don't include the tennis picture, a -2 score was factored. For scores that don't include the golf picture, a -10 score was factored. @Bearcat-Doug has messaged me and due to family illness, if he makes to top 8, he will forfeit from playing and the 5th place will advance. May his family member have a speedy recovery.

We will be discussing the whole debugging code ordeal before the 2022 season starts. I very much understand the excitement of debugging and understanding how it works, but I feel we need to make sure that this information needs to be at least SHARED with the field when someone digs deep into the code to make it fair to everyone.

While it would be nice, I will accept a picture of the TV and a separated picture of the timer showing how long you took to do your run. It is the first time we are doing a speed run, I will be pretty lenient with all this. Picture + picture of the timer will do perfectly fine!

Hello ladies and gentlemen! We finally reached the climax of our tournament. The grand finals start on the 5th of December and we will crown the champion at the end 12th of December. And the participants of our GRAND FINALS are... *drum rolls* : @0xDEAFC0DE @bertsampson @Dr. Morbis @NESfiend @the_wizard_666 Since The_wizard_666 tied in points with NESFiend and the whole pool ordeals, I have chosen to allow him to partake in the grandfinals as well. May he put the best effort in this new found chance to greatness in the tournament. For this grand final, we will do something never done before in the history of the weekly contest. We will put our players speed to test in a SPEED RUN! Our valiant top 4 will compete to see who is the fastest on a classic of a classic, Batman: The Video Game! One life only Set up a timer (cellphone will do) Timer starts when you press start to begin playing For the speedrun, RAM and memory watch features are not allowed, as they provide an unfair advantage that is not possible on console. Play the gamer and take a picture at the end of the run, showing your total time For each stage you don't beat, including the one you didn't beat, add 10 minutes to the time. Stop the timer when Batman respawns if you die, or when the Joker dies. If you use your cellphone to take pictures, you can screen capture the timer screen and post it along your picture. I thought that it would be implicit that you need to post a picture of each game for your score to be valid, but alas, it was not the case, so I made it explicit in the rules now. This' the tournament. There's no easy way out.

If you post both pictures, it will count since we can easily see it is your setup. I am pretty lenient with that whole ordeal with known faces because we can easily see again and again that the setup is the same in every picture.

Which is why people speed run it instead of playing for score. Anyway, it is almost 10 pm, started at 7 am I stopped working about now. Fuck it was all I had available with the time I got before I had to go deal with work matters. And I can't even know if tomorrow won't be like this again. I didn't have time to run this tournament but I still trying to. For now I will just abide to whatever decision @guillavoiecomes with and run the next round in whatever spare time I can muster.

Also, the whole Brasilia time (GMT -3 hours) is because people bickered that there is no such thing as VGS time, I got pissed and put in a more convenient ending time for myself there as a punishment. A punishment that got worse thanks to DST. Be happy we don't observe it here anymore or you wouldn't have lost one hour to post, you would have lost two hours. I will reconsider going back to EST next year. Reconsider.

OK, so I have read it all, there is no fucking way to fix it in a way that will be fair to everyone, nor I have lots of time today to figure a better way, so fuck this, screw the initial plans, every fucking one advances, winners of pools round 1 get a 2 point advantage in their score for pools round 2. Top 8 no longer exists and it will be 4 best scores advance. Deal? Even if it isn't deal, it is how it will be. I will post the final standings of pools round 1 tonight and who carries the 2 points advantage to pools round 2. Eff this.

A valid strategy. You can compensate for the 2 points in Tennis with a good goal lead in Soccer.

You can pause. I will trust that no one at the top 8 will be so lacking in ethic to play level 1 and pause the game to secure 2 points in this round.

You won't get to do PKs. If the game ends 0-0, then your score will be 0. I will update the rules regarding that.
